I went from City Folk and then forward each game, though i was the most invested with New Leaf. To the extent Ive done some texture reworking. Tedious, but fun. Editing the grass texture never worked as I wanted thought and both times Ive tried I ragequit lmao

Ive no clue honestly, Im partial to cats in general tho
If curious, Ive done character replacements for fandom characters
Faba & Wicke, and NiGHTS & Reala
Time consuming esp with needing to test it out and having to find a suitable host character
Species - name length - personality
Those 3 things are mandatory. So unfortunately i couldn't have Reala and Faba in the same game as they both shared Kabuki as host
Wicke and NiGHTS were sheep and cat respectively.
Oh, and the actual art was a pain due to color crunching that was so unpredictable... Fabas "hair" pattern suffered so much it was a pain to make it look a little better

I vastly prefer having a clean slate to build from as I now have the main goal of fulfilling the little "quests"
Once I get to a certain point I just can't find the drive to keep going. Number-go-up mentality.
Though I plan to try to make the island more "sky" themed (old town name wasn't doing it for me either) so I have that to look forward too as well.
Old town name was "Nacreous" as in nacreous clouds, but it felt too unorthodox for me now. I prefer more typical sounding town names now.
