I'm Isa and I'm from San Antonio, TX, USA and I'm kind of new to the whole Animal Crossing because of New Leaf. I've played the GC version, but that was seriously a long time ago. I'm still learning most of the advanced stuff, and I'm just being lazy at expanding my town because of college and whatnot.

Right now, I currently have Jay, Sprinkle, Chester, Alli, Croque, Chadder, Coco, Pinky, and Dora. I had Pashmina, but she moved away when I put down NL for awhile u3u; I still don't get how you can make certain villagers move to your town from wherever (Dreamworld and I read that you can do it from remaking a town??? o-o; ) Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting all of you uwu

the dreamworld? do you mean the dream suite? (i think thats what its called haha)
the dream suite is just used to visit other people's towns. you dont need to add them, and you can ruin their town but it wont affect their real town.

you get villagers to move in randomly (if you have below 8)
or you can get them from another town. they must be moving in the other town, and you can talk to them and have them move to your town. (you must have room, the limit is 10)
or you can get a villager from the campsite if you have less than 10

eh, because some people like the cutesy villagers better. so they probably want an "ugly" villager to move out.
i want to get some villagers out because they move onto my path soooo. i dont hate them though
they dont offer anything different. however, villagers like marshal have lots of the sloppy set in their house. (the sloppy set goes for a lot, and its hard to obtain) so yeah. that and people find marshal cute.

But in AC, few people just want some because they can turn em around and make a profit while most other people have their "dream" villagers which has nothing really to do with the dream suite...confusing ain't it?

Some people like Merengue because of her unique looks which are a part of the reason why she is so popular! I am just happy with whoever comes and goes!

Yep, you can ask any villager to move in from another town if they happen to be moving (in boxes as people like to say) if you don't already have 10 villagers. Most people like villagers for personal reasons, although a lot prefer their 'dream villagers' just for being cute!
