House expansions

I?m really hoping we get the left right and back room like in new leaf and not just the main room top room and basement like city folk. I?ll be very disappointed if the house expansions are like city folk.

Which are you hoping for?

im pretty sure they'll make the house big enough and follow suit from new leaf and happy home designer.. they probably wouldn't backtrack on something thats pretty much a main function of the game (designing your house that is).

especially since we have such a big outdoor to design, i hope there'll be a lot of new furniture so im fairly certain the inside will stay as big as it is.

That happened in City Folk? I really don't remember this. Either this didn't happen, or I never got to the advanced/later expansions with the lack of bell-earning.

With the addition of outdoor furniture, I hope one of the upgrades is a large, wraparound porch. I'm not much into the decorating aspect of the game, but I would absolutely love to hang a porch swing to sit in, while sipping on an umbrella-adorned iced beverage.

I just checked my CF file and yeah, you only had the house layout of WW (which doesn't surprise me as CF was just WW that added back the holidays >.>)

I doubt they'll go back to that though, as NL added rooms (honestly, i hoped we got three more rooms on the top floor but that never happened, i was so sad when i found that out XD really thought it would mirror the bottom layout)

I love the idea of a porch/ veranda type thing!! I'd love if we had the option to put it on one side or the other, that way if we are next to the ocean or something you could put a chair on it and look out to sea! (,: Reminds me of the animal crossing movie where I think ai, rosie, and margie are sitting outside at night on one of their porches? I think? It was beautiful anyway lol

i actually really like having the second floor room so i would love to have that back, but im meh on basement, 2 floors is good for me

I always thought they'd go I that direction too! I mean, why not? It would really make it so much more interesting if they added an loft/attic like we could have in WW!
But we could decorate it - didn't like that I couldn't decorate it in WW!

And if we could also have balconies too and gardens, that would be a dream come true for me!
I'd bathe in the moonlight, watching the stars sparkling and sip on my midnight coffee, listening to some new KK Jazz songs (Jazz at night is sooo relaxing) and Bossa Nova as the waves lap against the sandy shore... Ah _:L(? ཀ`」 ∠︎):_

Definitely agree, I always thought the City Folk expansions made the house feel too cramped and stacked. I'm all for even more space than New Leaf offered, as well.

I also hope they bring back the garage inventory. It was very nice having two, very expansive storage options where I could use one to store clothing and the other furniture only. I'm a big hoarder in Animal Crossing, which is why it's very hard for me to play the GameCube version where the storage was incredibly limited, lol.
