How are you finding the game?

I'm currently undecided on whether or not I want the game on Friday when it's released in the UK.

Any and all opinions are welcomed!

I'm really enjoying it so far I never watched any gameplay footage before purchasing either! The game is pretty addicting, I think you'll love it <3

I love it! I think others rate it harshly only because they are expecting it to be like the regular games in the series when it's actually so different from all the others...which I find to be refreshing and awesome! You get to see villagers in a different light and really experience customizing to its fullest!

It's really funny and addicting. I see something new every time I play and I really enjoy that. I think if you give it a chance you will love it!

I'm enjoying it. I'm having the most fun with the interiors of the facility projects. I'm looking forward to getting more items so I can go back and make my current projects better. There's a lot of variety and it's a great game to sit down with a cup of coffee and let your imagination run wild.

The one thing I've noticed with reviews is people saying that it can be unfulfilling at times, but I still want to give it a try! I just don't want to be disappointed as from what I've seen it looks like a lot of fun!

I've been trying to avoid gameplay trailers etc so it's more of a surprise for me

I love it and I am awful at doing any kind of interiors or anything like that even in ACNL. This has help me so much with all the

help and snapshots here and in game.

Now I am going to have a new goal in ACNL again! I love that game. I'm going to start 1 of my 2 towns

over. Happy dance!!

The amount of things you can do is actually kind of ridiculous. It doesn't seem like it at first ,but you keep unlocking new things to do as you progress, as well as new items, and you can go back to expand things, select new layouts for previous homes you designed, watch villagers in schools, stores, hospitals, offices. It's actually pretty fun, and funny.

I haven't played much so far, but I have really enjoyed it! There is one thing I dislike and it's probably the ONLY thing I dislike: you can design the room however you want regardless of what they asked for and they'll always like it, for example Peanut asked to live in "the land of the free" so I made it look like a dungeon. She loved it. When I did T-Bone's house I don't remember what he asked for but I put down only his required items and a garbage can and toilet and he said it was great. So I guess it can be a bit un-fulfilling at times but you also get total creative freedom pretty much. It's a lot of fun and there's more to do than you would think!

I genuinely enjoy the game!! Having the different amiibo cards so that you can pick and choose whom to build houses for is really a fun feature.
This is a game that I am probably going to be on-again off-again. It has a lot of replay value, I'm just not sure if I'm going to be consistently playing it. Time will tell, but I definitely love it!

Ah seeing you guys enjoy the game so much makes me want to get it! But it's not in my country yet and I don't think it will ever come.

I really really love it. I am having such a blast! I seriously loved the house decorating on ACNL and that's why I enjoyed it for the most part, I didn't so much like having to go on every single day to avoid losing any villagers or have them not like you anymore. But this is so nice because you can take your time and do as much or as little as you want in a day, and you can always go back and re-do things so it's very relaxing. I have always enjoyed house building, in fact it was also why I liked the Sims so much. So if you're into those kinds of things I feel you'd like this a lot!

I thought the same thing, but I actually really try to do what they say regardless, and I am pretty sure it was made this simple, much like the other Animal Crossing games because it's made for children, so they wanted really easy to follow rules, but leave the "theme" open to interpretation by each person.

Forgive me for asking such a n00by question, but what do the amiibo cards actually do? As I said, I've not been watching any gameplay or looking into it as I want it to be a surprise.
All of your guys' advice and opinions so far though are making me lean towards wanting the game really bad! I'm starting to think that if I do get it, it'll be another game that I play when I have spare time rather than sitting there and playing solidly
