How big do you think the catalog will be?

I'm assuming it will be larger than New Leaf's, as each new installment of the game comes with new items.

I really hope we have the clothing and furniture from Pocket Camp!

Yeah, I love the PC furniture and clothing too!!

It'll be massive (yes like 8,000 probably), because of all the new clothing types. They'll probably want to have a similar amount of old clothes and lots of new stuff. They might add some new furniture sets, and I REALLY want lots of music...

Oo yes, I hope there’s lots of new music!!

It's definitely going to be bigger which is exciting! I hope some Pocket Camp items (or all of them tbh) get added plus new stuff. :)

I don't like Pocket Camp either, but if there are decent items in the game that make their way over to New Horizons without being paid DLC or something equally distasteful, then I'd be ok with the new items.

AC never had paid DLC in the past, so it would be nice if they continued that streak.

I remembered when Super Smash Bros. started to give in to paid DLC and now I just can't get that taste out of my mouth. Super Smash Bros. Brawl was the last in a good series thnx to Nintendo and/or the developers of the series shoving not only cosmetics but actual fighters we had to pay for down our throats:mad:

Why, you have to ruin games I could have already paid good money for with real money stuff Nintendo? Why??

I never use emulators for console games. I did in the past for phone games but never console games. Still, this is the way Nintendo treats me:( Oh well, at least Nintendo does things right most of the time.

At least the good thing about games like Animal Crossing and Pokemon is you can trade for anything you might have had to spend money on. Still, not a good practice by Nintendo for something you are already paying a good sum of money for, but there is that.

If they did add paid DLC, that would be the end of AC for me.

I don't think they would be that reckless, but then again, it is nintendo.

I feel like it has the potential be considerably smaller than New Leaf, just based on them having to update all of the models to fit the new resolution and graphical style. Yeah yeah, it's not Game Freak we're talking about nor do we know just how big the team is that is working on the game, but it's my gut feeling and it hasn't steered me wrong yet.

I'm all for paid DLC furniture packs as well, especially if they can get third party video game franchises into the mix. I would kill for a series of furniture items based on Mega Man.

You could be right on the smaller catalog, but I’m thinking they wouldn’t shrink the catalog by any considerable means, especially since the majority of items don’t need to be animated (like they do with Pok?mon). Even if the catalog is smaller I wouldn’t mind, though.
