How can I put new game?

I realize after hours of playing that I messed up on the island map. I have already saved, how can I restart?

Go into your nintendo system settings, and go to data management > delete save data > new horizons

I haven't tried deleting my game yet, but have you tried going into the settings? On the main menu of NH it says you can push + I think to go to the settings. It might be in there.

If not, you should be able to just delete your save file off of the Switch from the storage/hard drive settings.

I’m glad I noticed on the second day. I don’t know how I didn’t notice the town map. Everything else was perfect though.
