How can some other special NPC's be incorporated into a shop/facility on main street?

We've got the Able Sisters, Kicks, Dr. Shrunk, Blathers, all those awesome guys. But what if Nat, Chip, Zipper, or Katie or something had their own shop? There will probably be new NPC's but if hypothetically some of the special NPC's got their own shops, what would they be?

Maybe Katie could have a shop that sells items that she's "found" on her travels.
Nat and chip could sell various tanks and containers that house your bugs and fish.
I'm not sure about Zipper, maybe treats and candies to give to our villagers that raise friendship?

I'm not quite sure what the penguins could o from Pocket Camp.

I want that Redd gets finally a own shop again instead of a tent. I mean, he already had one
back in City Folk and it would be nice seeing him having a art shop or something like this. As
for Katie, maybe something like a toy shop? With a little raffle? Like where you can get those
Streetpass items such as balloons for example. Since Streetpass isn't a thing anymore with the
Switch, there must be another way to get these items. And with the raffle, you have the chance
to win some special items you can only get from Katie (kinda like how she already gave you items
you can only get from her in New Leaf).

Hard to say what kind of shops Zipper, Nat or Chip could have. With Zipper, I thought maybe a
custome shop but we already have the Able Sisters.

I agree with Snowesque, I'd love to see Nat and Chip co-own a pet shop type of thing! I don't know how it would work or what it would be, but it would also be cool to have a shop where the seasonal NPCs can change out based on the time of year. Maybe Gulliver could have a shop too selling travel goods and exotic items and Katie could run it when he's out exploring?

Honestly I don't think I want them to have their own shops. I love it when they visit the town But if they decide to do it in the next game then it would be cute, i'll admit that haha

Well, they already started to visit via RVs, so it’s not that out of the ball park, it would have to be done in a way that’s not intrusive. Maybe have the campsite in new leaf, but can set up shops like reed when visiting

You know those like, big empty lots in malls that change their shop depending on season? (Like, become Spirit during Halloween, etc)? That might be a cool feature to bring in all the unique NPCs more, but keep them.. 'rare'. Like, during the winter, Nat might show up once in a while or so with some out-of-season bugs; Chip shows up during the summer doing the same with fish. Katie or Gulliver could have a pop up of unique goods from far off places now and then, holiday-exclusives could have some sort of special collectibles line? Have Jack show up in the middle of summer with some pumpkin goodies, or Jingle around in July xD (Maybe Zipper could show back up around October and carry some basic candy to make trick-or-treat stock ups easier?)

Honestly, I think it would be cool to give them something more to work with, they've all got such neat designs it'd be a delight to see them more!

It will be interesting to see where they go with the urban aspects of the game. We've seen a city and we've seen a shopping district, so I don't know how they'd change it up from those two.
