How do I get people to uhm respond to me?

In the boards where you can ask people to be friends. a lot of people saw my post I think because it got over 53 views but only 1 person have responded. did I do something bad? If so then sorry? I dunno where to ask this so sorry if I'm on the wrong place? (I'm or rather wasn't very active on TBT until a week ago)

If you are referring to Friends on the 3ds:

The limit for friend codes is 100, which is relatively small. Many "add me" threads pop up around here so most people fill up their friends list rather quickly. Others only add people that they go into a trade with, and filling it up only to delete people and make room is far too much work.

Stay patient, people will eventually respond.
