How do you come up with what clothes to wear in Animal Crossing?

I try to match what I’m wearing in real life

My character wears clothing similar to what I would wear in real life. I prefer to have my character look like me.

It kind of just comes to me, I have Kobe's default outfit. But I'll now, and then find, or make an outfit from either designs I find online, or ones I make myself for fandoms.

But I try to stick to my in real life style, which is a mix of fashionable but also clothing that has my interests. So Kobe's default outfit of a fashionable jacket, and then unicorn pants is something I'd wear in real life. Though another one of his default outfits is a robot hero shirt, just because I'm a fan of mecha, and transformers, esspecially the newest movie.

(Everyone on my island has a robot hero shirt lol)
