Just a random thought I had in mind. We sneeze and cough from time to time but I notice people cover their mouths in different ways. I cover my mouth by putting my shirt over my face because at least then I don't touch the germs. What really peeves me though is when people cover their mouths using their hands. It's annoying because the germs are now on your hands and you'll spread it to many places upon contact on a surface.

How do you do it?

If it?s while I?m inside, I?ll run to a sink or somewhere that can be washed and let it go. If it?s while I?m outside, I?ll turn around from anyone or anything and let it go into the grass. I?ll never shake someone?s hand if they just coughed or sneezed into it and didn?t wash their hands.

I taught myself to cough/sneeze into my sleeve.

Yeah or the inside of my elbow or something. I mean sometimes it just comes so you don't have time, but yeah people who obviously don't bother to cover up are just gross.

I've always been told that you should cough into your sleeve, right around the elbow.

I've been doin that a lot lately too :p

Those are all really gross. I use a tissue paper lol. When i don't have a tissue, I still don't use my hands cause you know why :lemon:

i either cough into my elbow or I'll turn around and cough into the air.

I've been doing a lot of these lately since I'm sick again

I cough/sneeze into the crook of my elbow, it grosses me out when people do it directly in their hands

Mythbusters tested this and the best way is to sneeze or cough into your elbow bit. Doing it on your hands is obviously a bad idea and doing it into nothing is just as bad as the wind or even a light breeze could carry your germs around. I personally try to hold in sneezes and coughs as best I can but I use my elbow area on my arm if need be, although I fold my arms lots so I dunno if it's very hygienic :/

I sneeze in my arms because its better to not sneeze anywhere else because sneezing in my arms is the best way not to spread on germs.
