Hi there everyone, sorry to be annoying with the same question I imagine every newbie asks! I have looked through this thread and can't seem to find an answer that explains it well to me, so...
How exactly do TBT bells work? I understand you gain them from posting on the forums but what I mean is how do you buy things with them and give your bells to someone else, or how does someone give you bells? I'm completley new to this forum and have no idea how the trade and such works, a nice simple answer would be really appreciated thanks
Look for the "Currency" drop down menu right underneath the main tab bar of the forum.
Click on "Bells".
You'll see your name on the mini menu, and right next to it, it says "Change"- click that, and start tying in the name of the person you want to send bells to.
Once you find the recipient, enter the amount you want to give them and complete the transaction.
If you want to buy anything with your bells or "tbt" just click the shop button somewhere on the top squares where it says "Blog Tree, Chat, New Posts" ect. And you can buy collectibles for your page, (they're just tiny pictures of things to decorate your page with, you can also gift them to someone else), you can buy add-ons to your page, (example: you can buy a mailbox, which increases the amount of space you have to send personal messages or "pms" and receive them.) or you could check out the captain's store (which you can click inside the store) and you can buy some of the same items you can buy on the regular store, but cheaper with seashells! (i honestly don't know how to get seashells either)
