Who is wearing shorts in below 40° weather 💀
I like wearing shorts way more than pants, but I generally only wear them when it’s really warm. So it would have to be around the high 70s before I start wearing them.

Almost never. My blood doesn't circulate properly (genetic issue) so I run cold.

I definitely voted for never, lol! I have legs that look as white as a piece of paper and even though I’m an adult, I am still extremely self conscious from be teased about it so much growing up. I don’t tan, I burn within 10 minutes being in the sun. My husband on the other hand will wear shorts even in our cold midwestern winters, lol.

I hate showing my legs, but I also hate being hot, so... Temperature where I'll start going outside in shorts is probably somewhere in the 60s. Might be 50s under particular conditions.

I usually wear shorts in the summer and at home for lounging but most of the time I stick to leggings because I feel like my legs are too thick and I’m not confident in how I look in shorts.

i loathe the way i look in shorts, so i pretty much never wear them out of the house, but if it's more than 70 degrees out u can bet i'm wearing them inside lol. i'm a huge baby about heat, so i'd die if i never wore shorts at all!

I'm honestly comfy in shorts once the temps rise to 12-15°C (53.6-59°F), but I typically don't start wearing them consistently until temps get above 15°C.

I'm not the biggest fan of wearing shorts because I'm a little insecure about my legs, and if my shorts are too high, my thighs rub together (and I don't !! like that !!), but I always have an insanely warm body temperature and get hot easily, so shorts are a must for me.

21-27 , I am exceptionally pale so for me to go bare leg I usually like to put on some self-tan to make myself look a bit more human (less pasty) which is too much effort for just ok weather , I'm also not accustomed to wearing shorts since I live in Scotland where it's usually raining/kinda cold so it needs to be especially hot to bring me out my comfort zone

for me it's usually 60-70 degrees when I wear shorts.
Sometimes though, I like to go a little crazy and wear shorts in the winter.. I usually wear shorts during the winter inside, unless I have to go check the mail, then I'm freezing myself in shorts :3

Other than that it has to be warm for shorts.

I'm Canadian and have thick legs, so I'm very cold-tolerant. I start once the temperature hits double digits, around 12 degrees usually.

I don't like shorts.

1. Even when I was skinnier and younger, I've dealt with chub rub. It was type that keeps you up at night if you dare to sleep in a nightgown or pajama shorts.

2. The shorts sold at stores tend to be shorter that what I'm comfortable showing in public. As a result, the selection for Bermuda shorts tend to be limited or unflattering.

3. The environment where I live is super hot during the summer. Covering up my skin in loose cotton clothing is more beneficial during this time of the year than wearing less.

I dislike wearing shorts. Even though they may be comfy and easy to wear, I still prefer pants. These insects called mosquitoes are my worst enemies you see...

I wear shorts at least 50% of the time I leave the house, I'd say. I live somewhere with cold winters and hot summers and warm spring/fall seasons, so there are plenty of days where the temperature is high enough to justify it.

I also have pretty significant sensory issues around my legs being too hot. It's been true ever since I was a child. In fact, as a kid I refused to wear long pants unless I was actively playing in the snow or something. I'd leave the house in the dead of winter in a thick hoodie and basketball shorts. It wasn't that my legs never got cold, it was that being cold was like "bummer, I'm too cold," while being hot was a source of actual torment, so I really really tried to avoid that sensation.

I'm never sure how to describe it--it's like, if my legs are too cold, it just feels a normal level of unpleasant. And if my upper body is too hot or too cold, it's also unpleasant in a normal way. I'm just . . . too hot or too cold. I can still think about and do other things at the same time. But if my legs are too hot, they feel kind of strangled, and everything feels itchy and chafing and almost painful. It's not the same as pain, but I don't really know what else to compare it to. It's like the leg equivalent of having a loud alarm going off next to my head all day. All I can think about is how desperate I am to get back to my house and change clothes.

For this reason, I even wear shorts to work (I work in a library, so its unusual but not unheard of, and a few others do as well) and I sleep in shorts year-round no matter the weather. I will now wear long pants if it's cold outside, but I keep a spare pair of shorts in my desk at work just in case the building temperature starts climbing!
