How do you feel about the “recycled” New Leaf content?

It's the good kind of recycling, but it is definitely recycling. I do think Nintendo owes us another update, what happened to 3 years of content? Are the last two years just going to be paid DLC? =/

Ordinances are great because it allows the game to adapt to people's play styles.

I usually play early in the morning and the majority of the island is still sleeping. So I had no choice to adjust and only play starting 9AM onwards. This mechanic will be quite favorable to me.

Just look at what happened when they cut many items. The game felt bland and incomplete because the things that helped contribute to the game's longevity was gone.

Recycled content is okay as long as it is beneficial to the game and the players.

i’m excited that they’re returning! it definitely adds a little personal customisation to the game and may inspire players not to time travel, as they may not need to anymore.

I like it. Bringing back some old features that were well loved and missed by most of the players who’s been with the franchise for a long time is a great thing because it means they’re listening to their fans and their wishes.

As somebody who works a full time job and doesn't usually get to play until later, the town ordinances are a nice feature to have. It'll be fun knowing that I can actually go on my island and check out the stores before they close without having to turn my clock back.

I used the Beautiful Town ordinance in NL because of the grass deterioration problem from having to water every flower daily. Since both of those have gone away in NH, I don't plan to bother with the ordinances. I never wanted NH to be New Leaf: The Sequel, so I was happy with the game. I'll use some things and ignite others to make the island plat the way I want.

Speaking of beauty ordinance what do you guys think the effect of this one is? I know we'll have to wait and see, but still. The others ordinances are self-explanatory, especially if you played New Leaf. But the beauty ordinance in NL made it so flowers didn't wilt. Flowers already don't wilt by default in New Horizons, so the only other effect I can think of(if it relates to flowers, anyway), is that it would make it so that flowers multiply faster. But lol, I already spent the better part of two months getting rid of all the weed-like flowers, I'm not gonna bring them back on purpose! If NH's beauty ordinance is just 'make flowers grow more', I will never use it.
