Splatoon How do you get this gear?

I was doing some online play with a bunch of Japanese people, and I saw that someone had this set of gear that I've only seen in fanart before. The coat and shoes I don't care about, but I really, really like that cuff. I tried to order it from Murch, but you can't. If this is some kind of Japanese only gear, I'm going to be very cranky. One of my pet peeves with Splatoon is Japanese-only gear that people from other regions can't order, and I really hope that this isn't the case.

its a japan exclusive gear and it only came out on the magazine of corocoro
but only splatoon japan region could have it

its based on a manga of splatoon they did

Yeah I've seen that gear around for a while now, but I figured it was a Japan DLC. Kinda sad though, the white version looks way better than the navy version.

At least with Splatoon 1 you could order the Corocoro gear from Spike. The fact that it's region exclusive and NOT available to everyone is what really makes me upset. Splatoon still did this in a way with that exclusive Corocoro roller... obviously you can't order weapons.

I wouldn't be as upset if other regions got some cool stuff, but I don't believe any others have. Besides, any exclusive stuff I get here in North America is usually horrible.

I think EU is somewhat worse, at least with other games like I mentioned Pok?mon. I don't own any Splatoon but I can imagine they are bad at doing it...

Oh yeah, I remember wanting the Sennyu Specs and did a workaround so I was able to order it thru Murch.... nah kidding. I saw someone in the plaza wearing Retro Specs with swim speed main so I ordered and made it pure. The difference is very minimal anyway lol. I also wish the Sennyu Suit was orderable though I'm not too crazy about having another Ninja Squid.

Yeah, I just hope the next Splatoon game at least lets us order region-locked gear like Splatoon 1 did. I know that video games and Nintendo are really big in Japan, but it's not really fair that Japan only gets exclusive gear and everyone else has to deal with it.

Yeah they are so bad getting it out, sometimes you wonder if they even make an effort caring about other countries...

The answer is no. By and large, probably because it's the biggest market for them, Nintendo will have a Japan-centric view for their games.
