Another thread, I know, but I was just wondering about this.
It's not really a question, but I was just wondering how people here keep their Amiibo cards clean, unfolded and unscathed etc etc.

I used to keep mine in my DS cartridge album, but the amount was growing rather...rapidly, so I couldn't fit them in there anymore. Now I've put them in empty MTG (Magic the Gathering) sleeves to keep them safe until the collectors album is released here in EU.

What about you guys? How do you keep them safe?

I keep them in a regular big zipper bag, along with my NFC Reader.

Don't plan on getting the album if it does come here.

I went to the local comic book store that sells cards. Bought some Card Deck Boxes in two different colours.
Put 1 to 49 in the yellow one and 50 to 100 in the Green one. They also have different coloured card protectors. Clear on front and coloured on the back. I just bought green ones but they would come in handy to separate the different types of villagers.
Bought a small clear box in the office supply department. Both Card Decks, 2 game cases, reader and a small coupon book fit in the box. I bought the coupon book to put all the extra cards inside. There are a lot of slots and it's only 7inches long.

I have a clear plastic deck box that holds 100 cards exactly. I plan on getting them for all four series :)

I was storing them in my NFC reader bundle box, which worked okay, but finally bought collector pages to put in a binder. Each page holds 9 cards and I bought enough for all 4 series. ...now I just gotta get me a binder.

I wanted the UK binder but since it will be so hard to get for now I'm just using a normal binder and regular card sheets

I bought card sleeves and used one of the many binders I have lying around. My 100+ doubles are in a deckbox!

Omigosh, some of these responses are horrorshow to me! These cards are kinda expensive! I'm also super paranoid and obsessive about keeping things in perfect condition, though. Plus, the items required/recommended to take good care of cards is super duper cheap.

I store my set cards in a sturdy binder (this one, to be exact) that I had lying around, unused. I keep my set cards in quality UltraPro 9-slot pages, which cost maybe a quarter each (probably cheaper if you buy in bulk, I just sent my boyfriend out and told him to buy me "at least 25 pages"). Each card is placed in BCW Inner Sleeve penny sleeve and then slid into the page. I don't double-up cards in the slots, so there's just 9 per page, which (to me) makes it nicer to look through. I pre-ordered the UK collector's binder, so if that ever makes it over there I'll probably move them over depending on how much I like it.

For extra cards that I have available for trade, I keep them in sleeves inside a metal pencil box. I ran out of the inner sleeves, so I just bought whatever I could find at WalMart which were some general purpose Upper Deck sleeves. I don't like them as much as they're not the same as the penny sleeves which fit the amiibo cards *perfectly*, these are a lot more loose. When a card is to be traded, I slide them into a toploader and send them along on their way! Also, I keep my Isabelles in plastic amiibo card cases. Bonus pics!

Until I get my series one collectors album I use the felt pouch that my NFC reader came in

I bought some of those clear sleeves you put baseball cards in. The nice thing is the cards are protected, but I can still scan them without removing them from their sleeves.

I keep mine in baseball card sleeves inside one of the numerous binders I have. I'm pretty ocd when it comes to my cards. Even my extras for trade are kept in a separate binder, inside sleeves.....and in numerical order. ^_^ I eventually want to get the official binder, here's hoping it's a birthday or x-mas gift. The hubby already knows how much I want it soooo fingers crossed.

I keep all my cards in a binder I got from staples with the ultra pro binder card sleeves. Just the basics nothing special. I wanted to get the official one but $30 was a little expensive just to import it.

I dont have many so I did have them just sit on top of my nfc reader and now I have them in some magic pro cover sleeves sitting on top of my nfc reader haha I might get a binder but I'm not too keen on it yet.

I think this kind of topic is a great resource for people who might be collecting cards for the first time.

I, personally, use penny sleeves on my cards the moment I open them. For the special cards, I go the extra step and keep them in top loaders. I know with other TCGs, holos tend to warp over time; keeping them in top loaders helps prevent that issue. I'm not sure if these cards will have that problem, but better safe than sorry!

In addition to that, I keep them in a little tupperware box. Just so I can neatly set them someplace and keep them all together.
