How Do You Make Pixel Art?

i tried making some pixels today and it was actually really easy!! you just gotta start out with something easy, i would probably not recomend that you try to make a super cool tree or something on your first try.

i'm using the program fire alpaca, but honestly anything works really. i'd recomend fire alpaca, gimp or krita but id k that's just because those are the ones i'm used to. i wouldn't use paint because imo it's rly awkward but do w/e u want i guess

i think it's fine to use a mouse, but i think it is a lot easier to use a tablet so if you have one i think you should use that lmao

I drew these in fire alpaca and animated the first two using piskelapp.com. i think they turned out ok, especially considering i've never done this before and i'm not good at digital art hahah ;;;

I agree in that I think gimp is a good choice. It's very intuitive and not super fancy so u can open and go for it. Me paint has gotten a bit weird with their buttons
