How do you prepare your sandwich?

I'm lazy. Bread, cheese, meat. Whatever's in the fridge, atm. Used to go for mustard, now I go for mayo. Sometimes, though, when I'm feeling up to it, I put lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and some salt n pepper.

I make a grilled cheese with american cheese only. Instead of butter, I use mayo. May sound weird, but since mayo is made out of eggs it gives a better color and crisp than butter. Sometimes I put jalapeños and/or ham.

There are egg or tuna salad sandwiches. Those are good. Mustard, mayo, pickles, and salt n pepper.

How about cabbage and soft boiled eggs with toasted bread and mayo spread?

Roastbeef and swiss/provolone cheese. Toasted bread and melted cheese.

I’m usually pretty lazy. Whole wheat/multigrain bread with deli meat (whatever was on sale), a layer of cheese, and into the toaster it goes. I usually toast each side separately so it gets nice and crispy, and the cheese is fully melted. I also recently discovered how good pickles are, so now I have them on all my sandwiches, regardless of the meat or cheese involved!

I’m also a sucker for brie grilled cheese with apple slices in the middle, but that’s more of a special occasion sandwich given how expensive brie can be (and how many calories are in one bite, whoo boy...).
