I still have a three star town since my island lacks "appealing scenery". I'm stuck at the moment as I need shrubs for my island idea and there aren't any in game. I'm really hoping Leif has some during his event at the end of this month.
kk slider visited my island today and i unlocked terraforming & pathing. ive been going ham on my island since then, no building is safe where it currently is. i never really felt the temptation to time travel until now when im trying to move all my buildings. ive decided i should move my house out of the way tomorrow because it'll stay where it is forever, and then i can start moving my shops and stuff then mess around with villager house locations. i have some paths laid down and a few bridges built (one of which is being demolished right now). idk if i want to have 4-wide paths or 2-wide paths for some parts of my island yet but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
I'm a 4 star rating. It's a work in progress, but I'd say half the island is fairly organized the way I like. I'd like to dig and move flowers around but the thought is daunting
Not far at all!! I've never bothered really planning for acnl or acnh, just kinda went with the flow for landscaping... I have a general idea of what i want specific areas to look like but theres def still lots to be done!
I really wanna take it slow and enjoy this game, and I'm actually surprised that I'm not tempted to TT at all anymore (I did TT initially to at least unlock the vaulting pole and ladder), considering I basically went through 3 days a day for acnl lol
Hit 5 star 2 days ago and am now currently ~70-80% done with my japanese inspired island (i know very original /s) need to work on my middle section (no idea what this will be) and top left area (this is going to be a hot springs retreat)
Not far, at all. I've placed my bridges (funding the last one now), but I'm waiting to unlock terraforming to do ramps so I can cut them into cliffs.
I'm at 7 villagers and last night unlocked the rating system. I'm definitely taking my time, because as much as I'll enjoy my island when it's complete, you only get that process once, so might as well savor it.
Haven't even looked at island rating but I'm really reluctant to do sink significant hours into designing something only to change it the moment I get terraforming. At the same time I'm nowhere near unlocking terraforming so it's a bit of a pickle really.
I started playing day one and have not time traveled. I have Nook's Cranny, Able Sisters, upgraded Residential Services, and the museum. I have 7 villagers and am working on my 8th with an amiibo card. I'm trying to decide if 9 and 10 will be randoms, or if I will get them from tour islands. My island is at 2 stars. I have 2 bridges and one incline. I'm working on hybrids with the flowers I have (still don't have any lilies...). I just added the 3rd room to my house.
Very uncompleted. I have pathed down everything, but I need to move literally every building except for Able Sisters and Nook's Cranny. I also only have one permanent bridge/incline at the moment. It's going to take a while for my island to be done, I'm not even sure what to do with my upper level. I like my island to be natural and feel like Animal Crossing, but I don't know how to create a beautiful island.
Im pretty much done. Only doing small adjustments and a bit of decorating here and there. But im at a 5 star rating, and every inch is decorated. It will be changed completely if nintendo decides to add more content. Its all fishing and bug catching from now on.
Got the game about a week after launch (lazy delivery service) and I really don't want to Time Travel this time around since I did it all the time in earlier games. I just laid down a plot for the first camper and Able Sisters is under construction.
