I'm seeing so many conflicting things about how to breed my own blue roses.

Some guides say two orange roses make a blue rose.

Others say I need to make two "special" red flowers and breed them together to make a blue rose.

What is the correct way to do it?? And if it's the special red method how do I breed a special red rose?? What's the difference between a special red and a regular red.

I've bred every color except blue and idk what I'm doing wrong.

This is how I breed blue roses in NL.
I haven't got a switch yet, so I don't know how it works in NH since they've broken with tradition on so many points.

Hope this helps!

Breed an orange rose using a yellow and a red rose.

Breed a purple rose using two white roses.

Breed the orange and the purple rose.

Keep any red rose that comes from them, as that is your hybrid red.

Destroy or move any other orange or purple that spawn, as they don't have the proper parents, so remember your planting order with the orange, and the purple.

When you have two hybrid reds, plant them, and use fertilizer.

Time travel helps, as it can take a while to get your blue rose, but you WILL get it.

Once you have two blue roses, they breed very easily.

Also remember your hybrid red planting order, and disguard any red roses that spawn from your hybrid red.
They are useless.

Good luck! ^_^

in the other ac games, you would need to get 2 red roses that originated from 2 hybrids. then you get those "red hybrids" roses and breed them together

Okay but does anyone have an answer for this game and not previous ones? Cause again I'm hearing conflicting info so I'd like to know from someone who bred a blue rose already in NH.

Hey Krissi you help me a lot so now it my turn.

To answer your question, you get blue rose from two bred red rose and those bred red rose can only come from orange and purple rose... and both orange and purple rose are hybrid rose so there you have it.

You get orange from red and yellow and purple from white rose.

As for how can you tell the differences between bred and regular, I'm not quite sure, I been lazy with my flowers planting lately. I have several bred but replanted them so I have no idea how they differ in look.

Also rose are my native flowers but I been focusing on windflowers and pansies and those are my two favorite type of flowers. I have every combination of the windflowers though so if you need help on that, I can be off assistance but as far as rose are, haven't done much with them.

Though I mistaken windflowers for pansies (my favorite) so that suck as well.
