Where did all this in game cash come from?
I mean.. maybe turnips or something?
bc of the rate being like 100 btb per 10 million.
Just how..

My guess is duping... not assuming everyone here does it but that's just my guess. xD In game bells have to be easier to get than TBT because there is a higher demand for TBT for some reason. What reason is that exactly? Not sure.

Possibly collectibles, username changes and all that other stuff?. Like you said though, apart from that, you could sell villagers, hybrids, DLC's and all that for higher prices. Turnips can be a good source of money though aswell, so theres that.

ACNL has been out for over a year now. You can easily buy turnips and sell at premium to get millions of bells each week. I don't understand why it's still amazing or so "outrageous" for anyone to have bells at this point.

(((((I think it's pretty obvious if someone is duping.... especially if they're buying thousands and thousands of BTB bells everyday for 10 million/100BTB.))))))

Even if duping is a quicker way to make In-game Bells as of what I heard of others, i still think IG bells made from selling duped crowns or thrones counts as "duped items", but when you mix the duped bells with non-duped bells, I don't know if it's contaminated or not.

Somewhere in the TBT rules, you can dupe and do whatever OFF SITE - just don't bring it here.

Think I found it.

"Playing Fair and Honest
We expect all members to honor any trade agreements they make. You should not scam or steal from other players. Exploiting game glitches for gain is also not allowed. This includes using The Bell Tree to sell duplicated items or using the forum to find people to duplicate items with you. In this way, we hope to reduce the negative impact that cheating has on the game."
So yeah, do what you want off-site but don't bring it to TBT.

I'm much stricter than what the site says. Unlike what the site says, I wouldn't allow it off-site either.

I never tried duping, but before I joined TBT, I remember that people on GameFAQs did it a lot, and they still do.

But let's go back to the original discussion. Duping has a much smaller effect on the inflation than some more innocent ways like beetle farming and turnip trading.

IGB are *deflated, just clarifying. Inflation is where the value of an item/ commodity is worth more than it should be, deflation is the opposite, which is what's happening to IGB.

No, inflation is a general increase in prices and fall in the purchasing value of money. In this case, igb is losing its value because there so much floating around. I'm trying to say that prices are rising for how much igb to give for btb conversions, because there is so much.
