How long does it take for a 9th villager to move into your town.

I'm doing the villager reset trick and I TTd a week forward after my 9th unwanted villager moved out and I am havering no luck at all. I've reset 5 or 6 times and still not plot appears or no tent appears int the campsite! Something like this happened last night and I posted a thread a thread but that quickly sorted itself out, what am I doing wrong this time?

1-7 days. If you're TT'ing, make sure you're doing it day by day rather than just TT'ing a full week at a time - that will only count as one day, rather than seven.
