I've yet to get a tenth villager. I started playing a day or two after the game came out.
I finally had a new camper yesterday, but it was a duck and I hate ducks so that tenth spot will probably stay empty for a while longer.

I don't think the 10th spot can be a regular move-in. Most people I know got the 10th villager from a streetpass, or a wifi visit. Do you not do either?

Love your name Snow! I'm trying to get enough bells to change mine but that doesn't seem to be happening. My friend is going to a gaming convention. Left today. When we went to a Zelda Symphony our Streetpass filled up like crazy. She should get one then this weekend! Thanks for the info. I didn't know that.
maxfactor this is totally off-topic, but I remember you started a topic about wanting different pieces of furniture for displaying stuff on besides coffee tables, and I found out last night that you can display stuff on top of the kiddie stereo, and even still change tunes in it.
Um..on topic now, okay! The wi-fi move-in character phenomenon still kinda confuses me. My husband's town is still super young- it has seven villagers (it did have eight, but Gaston already moved. Maybe he didn't like living in a town full of pretty boys since it has Marshal and Beau as well?). He's at PAX now, so he'll probably get a lot of streetpass activity- how does the game handle wi-fi villagers? Is there an invisible queue? And if so, can it be purged?

I think he'll only get one; from the (somewhat speculative) info on reddit the outbox and inbox don't seem to be held long. If you pick one up though, you cannot get rid of them. You can reset to move their space but you can't stop them from moving in. Of the group of us who went to a festival a few weeks ago, I was the only one with a full town and everyone else got a single streetpass move-in.

Yep, it was me looking for furniture to put my stuff on. Gotta have surfaces. I've re-furbished the kiddie stuff before but still don't like it. How funny, I almost sent my DS off with the hopes of getting the HHA filled. Mine filled up at the symphony but most didn't decorate so I deleted quite a few.
Now I'm worried about the PAX Pox. Uggghhh. Hope friend only picks up street passes and a villager and not the other.
I like the remade cardboard box for displaying baskets of fruit. Feels cheap and cozy. You can also place stuff on top of the deluxe washer.
Yeah, I'm anxious about the PAX Pox too, but also excited to hopefully see some cool HHA houses, instead of the usual pink rococo or nintendo graveyard rooms.
Talk about odd timing. I just got in the mail the gold house model from HHA. Where do I put it???? Haha!!
