How many fish have you caught in a row?

For one of the Nook Mile rewards you need to catch 100 fish in a row without missing one.

I’ve saved nearly 500,000 bells in the ABD trying to achieve this task, and I only started playing yesterday afternoon. The highest I’ve gotten is 65. I only missed because I had my joycon held too low, so the switch didn’t register my input Now I can’t get past my record.

Under nookmiles, it shows your highest record under the Cast Master aim! So mine is 59/100 x

Mine must be 30 or so. I think I' m actually a lot better in it than that suggests, but sometimes I just have like a spaz out moment and screw it all up, lol. I just reel in before the fish can bite for no real reason. Its so weird. Ah well, I'll get there. Its not that you can run out of fish.

Yeah, I’m expecting most people to reset once they miss one, thanks to autosave.

I’m too stubborn for that. I wanna do it legitimately, lol.

I got the 100 fish in a row with my 100th fish. I stopped caring at about 130 when I started focusing only on big fish for farming bells, ha ha.

For those of you having trouble, use the sound, not your eyes. Once you've trained yourself to catch the fish by sound alone, you'll rarely miss. If you're going for the Nook Miles, make sure to never use your hook to bait smaller fish away. If a fish targets your line, always catch it regardless of size. If you accidentally throw it out, make sure a fish isn't targeting it before you reel it back in.

Be patient and you'll get it.

100+ and counting. Use headphones to block out background noise in real life.

Also, a fish can only bite 4 times max. That means the 4th bite is guaranteed to be the sink.
