So before ACNH releases I wanted to ask this question, How much more do you want to know before ACNH releases?

I would only want a little more information about the game, since it kinda takes the fun out of it if I know everything that's going to be in it.

I want to know quite a bit.

If there are PWP's.

All the shops and their upgrades, including the museum and Roost.

If there is an island like Tortimer Island or some other area you can visit outside of your own island.

I really want to know if we eventually have any kind of authority, or a way to enact ordinances, as I couldn't see myself watering flowers every day again.

I really want them to reveal the number of villagers we'll be able to have on our island. I would also like to know whether or not all villagers from NL will be coming back, but I guess I could wait until the game is released to discover that. As for the rest, I'd like to get some new info every once in a while, but nothing too specific.

Part of me is content with the trailer and what they've already shown, although I imagine we'll be seeing more footage before release as well. I don't want to know too much though since I'm already 100% getting it and will take whatever I get. Although I would like to know the number of villagers we can have like others have said. Possibly a glimpse of any returning villagers other than the WA villagers we got in New Leaf or any new old/new NPCs. My guess is that they wont be introducing new villager species, maybe only new NPC species.

tbh I’d be fine with only one more trailer showcasing some of the new stuff, and returning things before the game releases. sometimes it’s exciting going into a game without analyzing everything it has to offer beforehand

I'm very conflicted. On one hand I want to know absolutely everything, but on the other hand I don't want to spoil all the fun of being surprised.

I mean, of course I would like to know as much as possible, then again, getting surprised by the one or
other thing and explore it on your own also sounds tempting and more fun. After all, I would be happy if
they show at least one other NPC as well as a shop (like the Able Sister's for example), alternative some
other villagers (whatever new ones or already existing ones) and a little bit more of a more developed
island map, just so that you can imagine the whole thing better. It would be also nice if they could say
how many letters you can use this time for both your character's name and island name, as I'm to be
honest very curious if the 8 letters limit is still the same as in New Leaf.

I think that I want to discover everything by myself but the release is so far away so I am starving for new info.
I wish we could play a demo (only the beginning like they did in E3), I love that game so much that I am becoming impatient ^^, is that a bad thing lol ?

I'd like to see an example of a mid-game or late-game island, just so we can have an idea of what is possible. I don't need a full look at one, but a sample part of an island would be nice.

I feel like PWP's won't come back sadly since that's been kinda replaced with furniture outside. :(

I would guess every villager would come back maybe even some old ones that haven't been in for a while!

I'm going to get this out of the way actually I don't want much more like I said since I want to find things on my own so I agree with you.

If there aren't any PWP's like the lighthouse, I don't think I'd be satisfied with just putting down regular furniture outside.

It would be hard to create a theme without bigger items, like fountains and the like.

I still would love to see them it's just that I feel like they have been kinda overshadowed with the furniture outside.

I want to know more about villagers.
  • Are they all back ? All of them ? The ones that were dropped after Animal Crossing for GameCube plus all the news ones since then ?
  • What about interactions with villagers? Are they more complex? Is the system changed? Is there a relationship meter like in Pocket Camp?
  • How many of them can live on your island at once?
  • Any other new feature concerning villagers ?
  • Any new villagers ?

I can't imagine they would do away with them. It would be a huge step backwards, reguardless of now being able to place furniture outside.

Some house furniture would look great outside, but there isn't anything big or interactive enough to make it look interesting. Even if the giant HHD items are in the game.

I really hope they don't get rid of them.

Oh God, no. Please no.
No meters.

Just a bit more. I don't want to know too much because the best part of getting a new game like this is getting to experience and learn every little new thing. I don't want to go in clueless, but I don't want to know every new feature.

I wouldn't mind if we got bits and pieces here and there. As long as there isn't too much information being given out, it will be fine with me. I'm sure they will give a couple more videos giving more information about little things or some major things. The two main things I would like to know before going into the game is how many villagers will be on the island and will we be able to name our islands with more than eight characters? If they gave at least that much more information, I'll be happy with just that. ^_^

I want to know which characters will be available to live on your island. Im hoping it will be all of them honestly.

I want more information on online/local gameplay and how pattern making is going to work this time around. I'd really like a more formal trading system beyond going to someone else's town and just throwing things on the ground. And I wasn't really into the multiplayer games in acnl, so I hope they show us something new and interesting.
Also very curious to see how the back wall of the island is going to look with those big rocks.

I like to keep things a surprise so I can kind of jump into the "unknown" a bit. But, I would like to hear of a little more info. It just seems lacking so far.
