How Often Do You Change Your Villager’s Hairstyle?

Just asking out of curiosity…I change the style more often than I change the color.

Maybe once a month? I alternate between bottom row 2nd and bottom 19th mostly, I always have black hair because I have black hair for real.

Sometimes I'll stick with the same haircut for a while, then I might change it or the color like everyday for a week or something haha. I really like how easy it is to change it in this game, makes changing it for a bit not a very big deal.

I’ll stick with the same hairstyle and color for the entirety of the game. I rarely change my outfit, too, if ever. I’m a self-proclaimed minimalist, so my character wears the same thing pretty much everyday.

Edit: Side note, Kyle, Tweek, Stan, Craig, Kenny, all will have the same style unless something more fitting comes out.. Which I hope different shaggy styles come out. Aside from Tweek who I did a time leap to get the mesy style for (because well thats Tweek) Craig, Kenny, and Kyle all have the same hair.. even though their all covered by hats.

At first I thought you meant the villagers that live on your island themselves. I was so confused, haha. Like what? You can't change their hairstyles.

But for the topic on hand, I'd say for me it's usually almost never. Once I find something I like I'll most likely stick with it until I stop playing the game.

I occasionally change to a specific hairstyle for a particular outfit, but other than that never. (I also don't change the color and keep it as dark brown.)

Only time that I change it is whenever I feel like changing my outfit and will change the hairstyle and color to match the outfit.

I made the maximum 8 player characters both because having people from around the world plays into my island's theme of world history and cultures and because I wanted to have as much inventory space as possible. There are some, like my main Resident Representative, who have one designated hairstyle that I just keep them with mostly permanently because I associate them with it. Some of them, though, have multiple hairstyles that I swap between whenever the mood strikes me. That said, even with them, it's limited to a few specific hairstyles per character, ones that I feel fit them personally. Once a hairstyle is associated with one of the player characters, it's basically off-limits for the others.

As for the hair colors, they all just stick with the color that I chose when making them. I am considering replacing one of the characters with a new one (and giving that character being replaced their own island on a different Switch, if I ever actually buy a second Switch) and I think I'd change the new character's hair color a lot.

Honestly, I just change when I want to cosplay as different characters, usually Himeno. Otherwise I’ve basically used the long wavy hair since the game came out but I did change it from dark brown to blue and revamped my aesthetic at one point

I switch between two colors at most, one as the main color and one for Halloween. Hairstyles, I've bounced between two but mostly stayed on one when I'm wearing other hats. My default is a wig/helmet.

The reason I don't play with more colors is because I gave my character eyebrows. I don't have room for a rainbow eyebrow custom design set, lol.
