best thing to do is buy a wetsuit and go diving. it takes awhile but its the best way that ive found to make bells quickly. its that or use nook miles tickets to try and find the random bamboo island.

I payed off my loans by taking every opportunity to earn bells. Mainly fishing, catching insects, diving and turnips. In AC:CF I used to go fishing and catch insects at night because that’s when the more expensive fish and insects were there. I don’t know if that’s the case in AC:NH, though. I would recommend to try to find good turnip prices in different forums, too.

Turnips is definitely the lowest time investment if you want to pay off the massive loans. Try to put time into collecting foreign fruit/fossils/fish etc. to sell and then put all of your money into Sunday turnips.
There are a number of sites to check for turnips if you don't find anything good on here within a week (when they rot) like reddit. You can keep repeating the cycle of buying and selling turnips until you pay it all off.
Be wary of time traveling though, I believe it can rot your turnips.

As for acquiring Bells quickly, I agree with the Turnips! Although, it is a bit tedious to find a good price, even through the forums or other websites. I enjoy catching fish or selling fossils (as my collection is already complete). Bugs are also fun to catch, like tarantulas and scorpions! Those go for quite a bit at Nook's Cranny, if I recall c:

Keep high earning bugs and fish around and wait till Flick and CJ are there to sell for better prices. If you have NSO take advantage of people’s turnip prices here on the forum. You can also use the turnip price prediction sites if those are still around. They always worked for me and earned me quite a bit of bells. Im also maxed out on bells so if you want a couple million I can drop some off lol
