How to unlock everything?

Hello!
I restarted my island five days ago and I'm very excited about this update. Infortunately, I can just practice aerobics for now. I don't have café, Harv's island is still the same (I have no shops on it), Kapp'n is not there as well... do you know when will I unlock all these new and funny things?

You'll first need to get 3 stars.

The Museum Café is based on X-donations made. So your first goal should be to unlock the art museum

Kapp'n may unlock along with the Café since Blathers uses Kapp'n as a way to introduce Gyroids and Brewster.

The new hair styles require that you first unlock the old ones.

Harv's island is probably dependent on how much money you spent/sold at Nook's Cranny and x-amount of days on the island.

The ABD, Storage shed, and storage upgrades require your house fully upgraded and paid off

And for gyroids and the dlc, how can I unlock them? I have met no gyroid for now and even if I received a photo by mail yesterday, I can't play the dlc.

Gyroids are only found on Kapp'ns island.


To unlock the DLC, aside from buying it, I think it just requires you to own a house, or maybe the pro decorating license.

I have a house, but maybe I'll wait for my resident service to be upgrated (tomorrow) because I can't play the dlc for now and I don't understand why

I guess what I said before was only half true. Gyroids can also be found on your island the day after it rains like in past games.
