Now that the main activities are over, I would like your opinion on how you rate the fair, based on activities, prizes, staff decisions, theme, and other factors. You may also share what you like most and what you like least about the fair.

I feel like if you weren't so overally organisational, the deadlines for things that couldn't be spread out would have caused a lil' stress, but I understand not everything could be spread out evenily with so many acitvities.
Other than that, I did really enjoy all the activities we did, sadly I never had time for the writing contest or the last colouring in, but can do those in my own time.
I probably wasn't too fond on the pin the tail on the villager, because my head takes a bit to understand I should be looking outside the box and I dunno if that I would've figured any of it out. XD

The confetti was more enjoyable in this than other times we've done it. More fun, talked more with others. Rather than just plasting confetti on their profiles~

I think the pin the tail on the villager was the replacement for the mirror events. I prefer the pin the tail on the villager over the mirrors though cause it's Animal Crossing themed specifically and you can figure it out via clues in the pictures. Compared to the mirrors you needed to be a massive Nintendo fan or have a lot of free time to try to figure out who it is.

For me, I think it was either a 9 or 10. I had so much fun with this event. I skipped the delectable delights and was close to skipping one or two other activities since I was so burnt out. I think the event was overwhelming but it surprisingly did not affect how much I enjoyed it; ofc, I don’t think I will be doing this much for awhile for other events 😅 let alone every time, even though I’d like to do more. The drawings and coloring were a struggle (they were still fun) since I’m not an artist and was burnt out when I was doing the canvas crossing and coloring, at that point I was starting to have less fun (that was my first time coloring digitally so that made it a little overwhelming for me).The writing one was also a little out of my comfort zone but I’m happy I gave it a go since I used to love writing. I had the most fun collecting confetti and with the ACNH activities. I love to decorate and design rooms so much and I’ve been really enjoying coming up with outfits more thanks to the activities requiring us to make an outfit.

I would give it a 9/10. Because the 2017 Fair was a tough act to follow, the 2024 Fair isn’t the best fair. But it’s one of the best site events ever. There were only a few flaws:
  • I didn’t participate in the Canvas Crossing because I didn’t like what it was about.
  • The original glow wands were too expensive and didn’t have their prices lowered a bit.
  • Some delayed ticket distributions.
  • The Villager Birthday Parties, Besting Blunders, and Dazzling Decorator had a few caveats I didn’t agree with. For instance, Dazzling Decorator only accepts Harv’s Island submissions when the birthday items can’t be ordered from the HHP catalog or from Nook Inc’s catalog.
Other than that, the fair went very well. Even the flaws have been outweighed by the positive aspects. Like when I said the glow wands were too expensive, they were at least given a re-run and unlimited stock rather than the timed restocks that they retired for collectibles.

I get it’s not perfect, but they’ve spent ridiculous amount of time, money into this, so mistakes and delays happen. Can’t expect every event to go completely smoothly or be perfect without delays every time. I get your frustration about the wand prizes; earning enough for inky was challenging. But Idk, staff is already doing a lot for us, so I kind of think it is a bit pushy to expect more. I think one of the administrators explained why the prices for the wands were expensive, even if he were talking about a different one, it still makes sense to me.

Gave it an 8/10!!
  • One of the main comments I have is the ticket distribution system for the Pin The Tail. I think it should follow the CITB ticket system but in a way that's like, if you get it right you get 4 tickets, if you get it wrong then you should get tickets based on how far you are in a radial pattern. e.g. getting 1-2 squares away from the correct one gives 3 tickers, 3-5 squares away gives 2 tickets, and the rest get 1 ticket. I'd much prefer someone get at least 1 ticket for participating rather than 0 tickets. But the Pin the Tail itself was super fun and I'd like to keep that kind of game for future events c:
  • I kinda wish we had other things to spend our regular tickets on than just balloons, raffles, and IRL prizes 🤔 In hindsight it's a bit too much to ask I guess, but also it would be nice if the feathers (at least the solid color ones) or other smaller collectibles could also be bought with regular tickets. Feels weird that the contest winners get 96 tickets to... buy more balloons or raffle draws, I guess? I feel there should be more to it than just that if you're a contest winner.
  • In connection to the above point, I think contest winners should also have a "pick your throwback collectible" as a prize, just to up the stakes. They can put a selected pool of what they can choose from if staff doesn't wanna give out high-end collectibles like imposters or the OG glow wands.
  • It's still to happen in the future but I feel contest polls should be shortened.... maybe 4-5 days max? Though I understand I'm just nitpicky and impatient LOL
  • Very minor thing but I miss the 3x3 gyroid designing contests. LMAO
I do appreciate staff for pulling together this grand event, and I enjoyed all of the events!! My favorites were the invitation and the brick building. I am a Brick Building Bonanza defender and I wish I could use bricklink as an art medium in the future KJLKJDSFLK it was. so so much fun. thanks Chris for the brick event u have changed by life for the better
ALSO the pin the tail was frustratingly fun, I found myself waiting for 9 PM EDT every 4 days for the new puzzle, ever since figuring out the graham puzzle my life has changed (for the better) KJHDSKF

I get it’s not perfect but one of the staff members was sick, also, they’ve spent ridiculous amount of time, money into this, so mistakes and delays happen. Can’t expect every event to go completely smoothly or be perfect without delays every time.
I can see now. I know work gets in the way, but I didn’t know that sicknesses are going on. However, I wanted to throw that out as one of my disadvantages.

I wonder if there’s another factor behind the delays, like stress-related issues induced by the hard work the staff put in and the rudeness of some members. If that’s the case, it’s understandable.

Ah I forgot about the thing with the tickets and how I wished we got throwback tickets for placing in a contest or earning staff favorite. Thanks for raising up these points and about the pin the tail 🙂. I haven’t participated in many fairs or as much as I did for this one, so this one left a more positive impression on than it would have probably had I done more, and had I earned more rare collectibles. I can’t help being extremely satisfied.

I gave it 9/10. I had a lot of fun and participated in a few events that I didn’t think I would. I agree with the tickets for pin the tail on the villager. That getting it right should get you 4 tickets. I thought about entering the writing one but couldn’t really think of anything. I did enter the canvas crossing and had more fun with it. I am not that great a drawing but having people help and me encourage me to try was really great. Unfortunately with RL getting in the way and unexpected emergencies there are bound to be some delays. Waiting on tickets from one thing but I’m sure we will see them soon. They will probably give more time to spend them. I didn’t go for a top prize since I didn’t want to only get one collectible. I also wasn’t sure what events I was going to enter. It’s been such a great event and thankful for the staff for it.

6/10 for me. I had fun with the first half of it and it was enjoyable, but the second half fell off hard for me in terms of engaging events. It's part of the reason why I stopped participating (the other part being my life got SUPER busy around that time and I just didn't have the time for it).

To be fair (hehe, pun), the theme was really unique, so I'm not sure how different the events could have been, but I personally had more fun with the 2022 and especially the 2020 TBT Fair.

Glad that others enjoyed it though!

Yeah, the second half of the events weren’t as good as the first half. While it did have the coloring event and interior design contest, I wasn’t interested into Canvas Crossing, LAN Party, or Villager Birthday Parties for various reasons.

I really enjoyed it and would give it a 10! The only events I didn't participate in was Rounds 2 and 3 of Party Popping Puzzles. I was happy to see Pin the Tail on the Villager as a replacement to the mirror event, as I am terrible at mirrors! Plus, even if we didn't get the exact answer we still had a chance to win tickets!

While I didn't have time to participate in every activity, I enjoyed the fair a lot!

My favourite events were Confetti Collecting, Canvas Crossing, LAN Party, Pin the Tail on the Villager, and Party Popping Puzzles. I only participated in two of the contests (Besting Blunders and A Cordial Invitation). I didn't have too much time to work on my invitation, but I enjoyed making my simple design a lot! 😊🎉🧁

I think there was a very generous amount of physical and digital prizes this year, and more than enough tickets and throwback tickets for me to make a nice lineup with, though I still haven't decided what to buy!

I will have to say, even if the Fair took longer than normal, and that I didn’t get nominated in any of the contests (which isn’t a big deal), my rating remains to be 9/10. It already lost points due to the caveats in some activities and the high prices for the regular glow wands, but the unexpected events don’t change how wonderful the activities are as a whole. They also don’t change the fact that all Fair collectibles got a re-run this year.

Probably 10/10 for me. It had a lot of fun events and the Canvas Crossing task really pushed it to one of my most enjoyed events. Most tasks are about doing a task for yourself, but I liked that CC was about making a gift for someone else. We need more tasks like that. It's why I loved the 2022 Christmas event where it was about gifting others the collectibles instead of just buying them for yourself.

I voted 10/10 because I really had a lot of fun! The events were all great, even the writing one, which is not my favorite activity wasn't too bad. I'd say my favorite events were probably canvas crossing, party prepping station, confetti collecting and delectable delights. I really hope to see a return of canvas crossing and delectable delights especially. I also got physics prizes for the first time and I'm very excited about that!😃 I can't wait to see what a TBT prize pack is! Overall I'd say it was a very successful fair!

i loved this fair lots, rated it 10/10. first one i've participated in events-wise too! super glad to see previously released fair collectibles make a return. hyped for the snow bunny enamel pin i bought to arrive too. favourite events were LAN party, delectable delights, magnificent memories and canvas crossing. by the end of the canvas crossing event i ended up being a little bit proud of what i did :]

and also thankful for the tickets awarded from the pop quiz !!
