This forum doesn?t seem to have a hyperlink text thing. For example, if I inserted a link, how could I replace the URL with text?

It would look like this:

[URL="http://link.com"]text goes here[/URL]

Yep its bbcode
html is : <b>something</b>, which would have bold "something".
bbcode is :something. you can see it has bold the "something"
