So while I've completed the Main Story for Hyrule Warriors on Wii U, I've never came close to beating the Master Quest, Termina Map, or Twilight Map (Didn't even beat the full adventure map yikes). So I knew that I could buy the characters from the 3DS version since it was announced, but it came to me that maybe I could restart the game and everything, but with brand new characters. But has anyone bought these characters on Wii U, or does anyone even think that it's worth it? Or should I maybe put the money towards another game, like Visual Console or something? I have about 19$ CDN left on the Wii U atm.

They're fun, but really pointless since you never have yo use them, and they don't have anything to unlock.
Up to you mostly, but if you plan on buying one of the packs...
Legends Character Pack:
-Linkle (Crossbows)
-Skull Kid (Ocarina)
-Toon Link (Light Sword)
-Tetra (Cutlass)
-King Daphnes (Sail)
-Ganondorf (Trident)

Legends of Hyrule Pack:
-Marin (Bell)
-Linkle (Boots)
-Toon Zelda (Phantom Arms)
-Toon Link (Sand Wand)
-Ravio (Rental Hammer)
-Yuga (Picture Frame)

The Legends of Hyrule Pack is a bit cheaper than the Legends Character Pack while offering the same amount of content ($12.99 USD vs $9.99 USD) so if you can't decide, go with that one. If you like it, get the Legends Character Pack later. If not, then at least you saved a bit of money. :p

Yeah that's what I was thinking. It would be fun to use them on the adventure maps, but that's the only use they have.
