I took my time, so it took me around 50 hours... But I did only half of the sidequests.

I have only one word... Wow.

The game is absolutely stunning, a culmination of Nintendo and Zelda goodness... Nobody has ever, nor will anyone ever, make a game as good as this for either an EXTREMELY long time or forever. It makes Ocarina of Time look feeble... TP is THAT amazing...

And now, for spoiler material... DO NOT READ BELOW IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THE GAME SPOILER-FREE!

I LOVED the battle with Zant, very interesting, but the battle I loved the most was, hands down, the one with Ganondorf. It was just so epic, but I couldn't help but cry during the ending. Not only did Ganondorf suffer a painful death, but Midna broke the Mirror of Twilight, therefore, she won't ever come back. It was obvious that she loved Link...

[End Spoilers]

This is the definite gaming event in videogame history... No doubt in my mind that TP will not be easily, if ever, surpassed.

I just passed lakebed temple and reached Zelda in her room.. I've only played it for about 15 hours.

Spoilers up there.

Congrats on passing it :gyroidveryhappy:

Hope i can pass the game soon

KINDA SPOILERS IF YOU READ BELOW

(ODDCRAZYME...DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YA!)

:p

Bul...no...Ga...Ganondorf can't really be dead! He comes back in Windwaker....I thought Windwaker was the last one in the series. It's also a giant shame that Midna won't return. She's become a favorite of mine, although her laugh through the controller still freaks me out. She really loved Link? Wow...that must have been what you said before about "Romance between two characters you wouldnt expect to like each other". Am I right? Where I'm at, Midna doesnt really seem to like Link at all, and I personally always thought she was like...secretly evil...or something.

SPOILERS BELOW!

You see, that's the dilemma... It was a VERY weird cutscene... Ganondorf had the Master Sword implanted into his body, but got up... He said that it isn't over, but suddenly, the Triforce Of Power vanished from his hands, and out of the blue comes Zant, who cracks HIS OWN NECK... It goes back to Ganondorf, who is white-eyed, and has stopped moving and talking, but is left standing in the field... Very strange and mysterious...

I think Ganondorf's soul is still alive in the Sacred Realm, where he was banished in OoT... And it was merely his body alive in TP, i.e., his soul was in control of the body, but his soul was still in the Sacred Realm. Either that, or the split timeline theory is true...

I just beat it recently, and I'm not going to paragraph. I'm just gonna say some spoilers now.

@Gengar: Yes, that is what me and Bul were talking about before. The whole Midna-love Link thing. In the FINAL cutscene, you notice that he totally has something for her too.

@Bul: Yeah, Midna breaking the mirror at the end made me sad...I wanted her to come back. Hopefully, with the inconsistancies that riddle the Zelda world, theres another mirror or something like that.
The Zant neck this was weird also....it made it seem like Zant was finally in control at the end, be we will never know, because it was never explained.
Also, if Ganondorf lives, then he wont have the Triforce of Power, because it seems to have ditched on him. But I dont think they can be destoyed, so that must mean someone else must have it now.....
LOVED the Ganondorf battle. 1-on-1 sword fights were my favorites.

Even though Zelda as a whole is somewhat inconsistent as you said, I doubt Midna will be making a comeback... Although we can never be too sure. As for Zant, I don't know how much control he had over Ganondorf... Wasn't Ganon "his god"? How could the follower turn on a seemingly almighty deity... Wasn't Zant alive merely because Ganondorf was alive to support him? Remember, Midna had killed Zant previously, and Zant was alive only because Ganondorf was there... Really weird... We can only hope that it'll be explained somehow in the next game or something.

And an even weirder thing is that Ganondorf DOES live after this, in Windwaker, and he STILL keeps the Triforce of Power.

Well, maybe theres like a transition phase....
Ganondorf loses Triforce.
Some other person (Guy X) gains Triforce.
Ganondorf hunts down Guy X with magic or whatever.
Ganondorf kills/posses Guy X, making the Triforce his.
Ganondorf has the Triforce in WW.

Its a stretch, but its possible, specially if Guy X doesnt know if he has the Triforce, doesnt know what it was, or cant use it.

Uggg I say this contains spoilers too but with the amount above they are right here

Ok I think maybe zant took the power.....I forgot about that part, but maybe Zant originally pawn took over. it is feasable, and those in here who have beaten the game must like my sig, I made it so that you can tell who it is , and hopefully the scene if you beat the game, if not, it shouldn't spoil things.

Zant could never take over Ganondorf... I mean, think about it, who seems more powerful?

Well originally yes, but Zant could have taken advantage of his weakness, I would be a pretty weak being of evil if the sword of evils bane was run through me.

That is waht I think anyway.

Mneh. It has everything and more of Ocarina of Time. Yet it's missing some little thing for me...

Have you beaten it? I thought not. The ending is way better than OoT's, although OoT's ending will always have a special place in my heart.

@ Sporge - Eh, Zant just doesn't even seem the type who would take advantage of his own masters' weakness... After all, why would Zant want to replace Ganondorf if Ganondorf himself said, "Whatever you want, I will want." I would be pretty happy with my place if I were Zant.

You see Bul, that is the thing with the power hungry, is it ever enough?

I mean I don't know what else explains Zant in the end there. It could be that the spirit of Ganon was transfered too I suppose, but either way makes me think Ganondorf is out of this sequence of events.

Where did Zant go after after the final fight anyway?
Who knows? Maybe he recived the Triforce when Ganon lost it, because of their freaky connection thing.
Well you see him after you beat ganondorf, it is really kinda weird, he is looking down and cracks his neck and that is where ganondorf appears to die.
