i also play FFXI and this has happened there before also...
what i'm worried about on this game isn't really hackers or whatnot - it's the real money trade people could probably rip off this game. in FFXI they have to REALLY monitor it because the economy gets so messed up by mainly chinese RMT (real money trade) players that play the game, do actions that are sometimes cheats to get as much currency in the game as possible, and sell it on IGE.com for real money.
i'm not sure if there would be anyone to do anything as stupid as buying bells for like 50 bucks per million, but that's about the market in FFXI. :/ never know what people will do for these games when they get too addicted. but since this game is getting more popular, and on-line, and the game is free... makes me wonder.

If theyle charge money, it will be like $5 for 10bil, because its easy to make money on ACCF. Buy an Action replay or what not for around $20, and make as much money as you want. But it wont happen with this, because bells dont make you AC city any better. Time and effort with your villagers makes the differance

-edit: i mean you can make as many bells as you like with the action replay

-edit 2: The action replay can also be used for 100s of other games for a flat fee of $20. If at all, people would just give money away.

Hmmm....wow a hacker already!!!!!!! There are a lot of technical freaks out there who hack for fun!!!!!!! Its not right!!! It has interfered with many people who have the game....Nintendo is probaly frustrated with this whole thing as well as many others!!!! Hope it gets fixed soon!!!!

Depends on what kind of Sony fanboy you are, most Sony fanboys hate nintendo.

I hate Nintendo.

But I can assure you, Nintendo's online setup is already terrible, taking it down would be a good thing.

If you hate Nintendo what are you doing on this forum in the first place this is a Animal Crossing forum, which if you didn't know, was made by Nintendo.

people that get really involved with this game really want their house paid off and everything done for some reason like that's going to allow them to begin to "begin living freely", but that's all part of the game - working towards that goal, lol. in FFXI it's not like making money is hard either, but some people get so addicted that they become obsessed with getting the next best thing. :/ ah well. we'll see...

as i said, there are already countless hackers. But if you look in my siggy, theres a gentalmans agreement link. This cuts off usage of hackers and keeps currency low....
