5th of may over here (the netherlands, shocker ain't it? ) is liberation day, the day we became the Kingdom of The Netherlands again after some years of nazis stealing our bikes and doing way worse stuff ..

so who cares about cinco de mayo -.- it just reminds me of this .. and isn't mexico's independence day 16 september or something? o.o

^ i actually watched a movie about cinco de mayo yesterday in spanish class.
and cinco de mayo is the day that the mexicans conquered the french. and so thats the way of celebrating.
and actually the mexican independence day has nothing to do with cinco de mayo.
