I say dump the sage rank. I am not meaning to call out any sages or point any fingers. I'm talking as a whole.
Sages here are attacking other members and members are attacking the sages. They are really just members with more privileges and boards to post on. They are supposedly "an upstanding member of the community." But all I see is complaining, bashing, and just unneeded, and unhelpful randomness.
Let me see a sage who contributes with good posts, good ideas, and just a good attitude that goes with them from post to post. Not a sage that hides behind the word "opinion". Not a sage that attacks the credibility of the poster instead of the post. Not a sage who is so ignorant that they disregard everything but their opinion.
Sure, sages are helping a bit with the website but from what I've heard, they are quiting or complaining half the time. Members sometimes have to step in and help them just to help knowing they won't get anything in return but their name on the site.
If it were up to me, I would have Katz as the only sage. Sure, she (Thanks Fang
) is not active but she is member I respect the most at TBT(Not talking about the staff)
Sages should either start acting like one or be demoted, simple as that. It is known that there will not be any more sage at TBT until further notice. That shouldn't mean that sages who have shown themselves unworthy time and time again should not be demoted to a normal member without their unique privileges and access to hidden boards.
Also, if a specific sage wants to talk to me about this PM me. I'm not going to call anyone out in this thread. And if you PM me keep what happens in that PM in the PM.
