I swear, if I fish up one more egg, or hear another egg balloon, I am seriously going to lose it. These eggs are super annoying, and I wish they were only restricted to one day, because I'm sick of fishing up an egg instead of a new catch, sick of breaking my rocks open trying to get clay, and sick of hearing a balloon float by every two seconds.
I dislike these eggs.

I can understand being annoyed by the fishing aspect of the eggs. lol I personally sell the eggs for easy bells or eat them instead of shaking a fruit tree if I need to move a tree or break a rock. I probably should craft the eggs too for even more bells, but I usually just sell then without thinking...

I don't mind the balloons because they don't replace any other aspect of the game, it's easy to tell what is a Bunny Day balloon and what is a normal balloon since the balloons are different colors. I don't like that when you fish you catch an egg 90% of the time even though the shadow still looks like a fish.. they should differentiate these in some way as they do for the balloons.
a good life tip to make fishing a bit less horrible is to remember that water eggs are always (as far as I can tell) shadow size 3
that means they're straight down the middle in terms of size, the same size as a dace, a yellow perch, a squid, a dab, a barred knifejaw etc
even though I know this, I'm still putting off fishing until it's over because I hate constantly seeing shadow size 3 fish everywhere and one of the fish I've been desperately looking for since the game came out is a char, which is also size 3, annoyingly
as for all the other things, I completely agree. I love animal crossing but I have to say I absolutely hate this event. the balloons are so maddening and fishing is so annoying, especially when I was so excited to get all the new april fish

Well it sucks, but it wont last forever atleast. But yeah, those eggs…. so freaking many… Now I have all those recipes in my inventory and every single one of them looks horrible. Why is this a thing, why not keep it smaller. Is easter really that big of a holiday to begin with? I thought nobody really cared about it.
