I know that there are too many Bunny Day Balloons and they more often than not just drop the eggs instead of recepies for them. But that's legit the only problem I have had so far with the event. I have figured out that all the 'egg fish' are the same size so I just catch them since I need them.
Did you know when you collect a certain amount of an egg of a single type you get a pretty cute outfit based on it. I am particularly fond of the Sky Egg outfit set.
I really understand the criticisms, but I really have been enjoying it myself. Especilly because I am not stressed trying to get it all done in one day.
Not at all! There's plenty of us that are enjoying it. I think I saw 2 threads yesterday made specifically for people who are enjoying it. I'm a complete child so I get really excited about holidays and have so much fun celebrating them. I'm working hard to find all those recipes and get them made. I temporarily have a room in my house set up to display all of the new things.
for the people who don't like it, I do understand a little. But it's so easy to ignore it as well. You still get materials from the trees and rocks. Your island still spawns the 4-5 daily fossils. The Easter balloons are clearly marked so you can easily just not pop those if you don't want to participate. The only thing that I really get that would annoy people is if they are trying to fish and keep catching eggs since you can't really tell what's what in the water.
but oh my goodness mairen is really having fun with this holiday so far! and the trees are beautiful! and there's just so much I'm happy about ^__^
I actually don't mind it myself. Things move pretty slowly in this game, and to have an event at all (and for almost 2 weeks) I'm grateful for it. It doesn't cause me much trouble besides the bunny himself on top of the hills dancing behind a tree looking down at me lol.
I wasn't enjoying it until I got the recipe for the egg party dress and hat. Oh my. It is the tackiest, most wonderfully ugly thing I have ever seen and I shall wear it everyday.

I'm enjoying it! I think Zipper is cute. I don't necessarily think it needs to last more than a week, but other than that - for now anyway, it's cute and colorful and fun.
It fun for me as well. I have a lot of river so sky balloons are tough.
Ya the drip rate for diy needs to be better. Although I think I have most. Missing the furniture. And I'm guessing egg trading will come into play for people that don't want to do it. But so far enjoyable. I want zipper as a villager haha.
I love all the eggs on trees, problem is that I've just unlocked terraforming so it's distracting me from hunting eggs. Some of the furniture is really nice, the colours are pretty. : )
I had a lot of fun first day! Then I learnt I will glitched ut of balloons soon so I gotta ration the balloons, and that bunny day ends on 12, while cherry blossom end on 10 and so far have gotten only 1 cherry diy. Not fun at all. And its all nintendo's fault for mixing two special events together, and not addressing game breaking bugs that don't let you enjoy said events.
I wanted an April fool's update also I think I thought the egg hunt would be like an IRL one where you have to compete with someone to get the most eggs. I'm just kinda bored by it lol

The main thing I like is the fact that it gives me extra tasks for me to complete on a daily basis.
I've been running out of things to do after lol.

I'm enjoying it quite myself as well! I don't have much time to play since I'm working most of the time, so it's amazing to know we have a lot of time to get all items. I'm also planning on decorating my island with easter items and set a few eggs around just for the lols! This gives me plenty of time to do so. I'm also wondering what will happen on the 12th.
The event itself is okay, but 12 days is too long. If it was 3 days, it'd be fine. Plus, by adding over 40 recipes, Nintendo failed the #1 rule which is "quality over quantity"
