For a decent background, choose the smudge tool and use the Vine Brush to smudge your image all over the background. Also, like said use an image from PlanetRenders or Gamerenders.

Protip: Save it as .png and not .jpg.
Anyways, like I said you smudged it wrong and it's got a yucky blur to it. Plus the BG's just brushes, but hey it's a noob signature.
