I found an island with empty fruit trees. what is this bs

Anyone feels like the more islands you do the fewer reward you get? I have only found 1 island so far that is not my native fruit, all islands had my native flower and I mostly get bamboo islands wich are utter useless to me since I don't have any bamboo recipes!

Now this takes the cake with empty trees.

I probably wasted like 6000 tickets already for 3 trips only to end up in useless islands without any other fruits or villagers. Guess it pretty random whenever you getting a good island or not.

Its the nature of the randomized islands tbh. You can either get SUPER lucky and get the crazy Tarantula or money rock island. Or you can get unlucky and get a couple trees of the fruit you already have in your town. But more often than not I find the islands to be very profitable and find it a fun way to make money and an awesome new feature to the game.

I always see people visiting those awesome islands with bamboo, hybrid flowers and tarantulas and such... Yet all I ever get are the same boring islands with absolutely nothing of interest. Once I had an island that was full of black (b)asses. Gee, thanks game!

I'm really confused, Does anyone know if there are just certain days where you get terrible islands, I have wasted about 10000 miles. I need to know if theres a way to tell if you are going to get a bad island. Remember the direct they said, "You'll get an island based on how they are feeling today". We need a metric

yeah with randomized feature like this 2000 is too much, i feel like? also wouldn't it be not that easy to earn them in the future when the points need to be higher and you got the most of them already? kapp'n i miss you

You get 1-1.5k just with those daily doubled nook miles+ "tasks", it's not that difficult to get 2k miles each day.

yes i'm saying it's easy now but you wouldn't wanna go just once a day. if you had bad luck and got no villager/looking for someone then you have to GRIND. you can't just sell anything for a ticket. i've spent my entire afternoon yesterday earning miles and managed to get 4 visits, and that was me avoiding to spend the miles on other things/features.

don't get me wrong though, i love the miles+ thing it makes you have a goal / activities to do, and i bet the nook miles will be their way of adding new stuff/downloadable items in the future.

just that getting a repetitive island is annoying and i felt exhausted after working for that 2000 only to see my native fruit on an island repeatedly, maybe it's just not meant for you to visit a few times a day or scouting dreamies like how i expected it to be.

It’s my 4th day of play today, I’ve basically spent all the Nook Miles I can (besides daily refresh items) and I have 75k miles? I honestly don’t know when I’ll ever spend them all (although I’m sure I’ll unlock more to buy and change my tune lol). I’ve gone to an island at least twice a day as well btw.

Also almost any island can be a tarantula island if you want it to be
(If you go after 7pm, clear the land so other bugs don’t spawn, and farm them. I just did this and got 84k even tho my pockets weren’t completely full of them).

You don't unlock bamboo recipes until you have bamboo in your town.

I don't get super rare islands, but nearly all islands I've been to have had iron to collect. Islands are the only place to get iron as far as I know. Yes your town has rocks, but very very few. As someone who doesn't time travel, the iron in the town per day is insufficient.

I'm sitting on 30,000 miles right now. Doing the Nook Miles+ can rack in 2,000 in probably 10 minutes.

Welp, that's just my luck...

Trust me the bamboo islands are pretty lame after the first time going there. It sucks cause there's no trees so you can't make more tools if yours break.

I mean maybe it's just me but nook miles... are easy to get and you can pile up pretty quickly. The x2 and x5 nook plus options take 2 seconds to finish and the other cycling daily missions are also very simple unless you have to have a SPECIFIC bug/fish that takes time to get as one of them.

The nook islands are primarily meant for gathering resources after you exhausted your island and for finding villagers to move in (not cycling like crazy to find your faves however.) The rare islands are fun surprises that are rare I've gone to countless islands and only a handful were rare.
