I found Bamboo!

I decided to buy another island ticket tour. It was only my second one so I'm thinking it was worth it? Do you guys think it's worth buying island ticket tours?

Well, on this excursion I discovered a bamboo island!

I love bamboo but it can be a right pain when it tries to spread everywhere like a jumanji jungle XD Do you guys like bamboo? Will you be planting it on your island?

If it's like NL, plant flowers to stop the spread. I assume island tours will continue to be worth it to search for animals, but maybe that ends when you get a campsite?

Ah that's a good idea with flowers! I also saw someone planting them on one of their clifftops as there is only a finite area they can spread to up there.

congratulations!! ik a lot of ppl are struggling with finding it so glad someone else could join the bamboo team.

i dont think island tours will ever be useless. villagers can always move out and itd be a bit insane to keep the same ones year after year (unless theyre ur dreamie i suppose). and i dont think of island tours as a way to see villagers but as a way to get more resources. u only have so many trees and rocks u can hit for things a day, if ur running low on materials island tours are a good way to stock up. plus with things like tarantula island in the spring (and perhaps scorpion island in the fall) its a good way to make bells. and if u ever need more weeds u can get like 50 or more per island, along with flowers!!

Yay! So far I've gotten like 5 bamboo islands and 1 hybrid island, at this point I'd rather find a trash island myself because I've already planted the bamboo on my island.

Like, the 2000 NookMiles aren't wasted if you get something good. But I don't think the price is justified to just get iron and some regular fish. I'm not sure if I want to keep wasting my miles like this, so far I have nothing too special I want to buy right now, but the islands disappoint me 99% of the time. I'll probably stop going until I can get new villagers, but I'll try to make a tarantula island again tonight. I failed two times so far.

Lucky! I've been on probably around 20-30ish island tours and I haven't gotten any bamboo whatsoever. The RNG really did you well to get it on the second time!

Wow I didn't realise bamboo islands were that rare, maybe I should plant more bamboo on my island so I can gather resources and start distributing to other players who are struggling to come by it.

Fortunately, now bamboo shoots start buried and have to be dug up and replanted in order to grow more bamboo, even when coming from a bamboo stalk on your island, so the NL scenario can't happen.

As to whether nook miles tickets are worth it, I'd say so. For me, it's the best way to get weeds for medicine as I keep my island weed free. Also, coconuts, while not spectacularly profitable, are a nice source of steady income and the island with the fruit I didn't have on my island growing all over it (pears) was the best thing I've ever found on any nmi.
