Resident Night Mare
So, I had a three-day weekend, so I wasn't online at all, which means no blog posts. It was nice (the being off, not the not blogging ;D), because I got to spend a day with my mom, sleep in, cuddle with the girls, read uninterrupted, and just be lazy. I did miss reading the blogs and chatting with everyone, though.
So, on to what's been happening in Hollowyn.
As most everyone knows (or at least those who are reading my blog), Friday was Lolly's birthday. I had her present tucked away for quite a while, but once the day started, I decided that she deserved presents from my other characters, too.
Anyway, I did my rounds, watering flowers, digging up fossils, and hitting rocks. I said hello to Pekoe, had coffee, greeted Antonio when he woke up, but stayed away from Lolly's until all my villagers were up.
I was curious to see who would be celebrating with her. I was thinking it might have been Anabelle or Stitches, but when I went in to wish her a happy birthday, I was very surprised to see Purrl dancing around in the house. The same Purrl who keeps telling Lolly that "bonbon" is a tired, old catchphrase. Go figure.
I gave Lolly her Earth Knit, and she gushed about how happy she was. When I spoke to her a second time, she gave me this:

I love her expression.
I left after a bit, then sent the other characters over. She gushed over everyone's presents, so I think my little cat had a good day.
The yellow brick was on sale at Tom Nook's (can't remember what it's actually called), so I bought that for Sapphire's house. Her house is totally complete - on the outside. I just have to finish swapping out some flowers, as I get more orange lilies.
Saturday, the Cabin exterior was finally for sale! I bought it for Emerald's house, and that is now finished, as well. I'm really loving the look, and the purple roses and pink tulips give a nice pop of color.
All that's left are Jett's mailbox and brick, and Flint's brick. Then I can concentrate on the interiors.
Sapphire got the mannequin from Sable. I think I'm close to getting it with Mabel, and probably have a way to go for Labelle's, but it's getting there. Then I get to start all over with the boys.
Went to see K.K. Slider play Saturday night. I sent all of my characters, so I have four more songs for Emerald's house. I do want music playing in a couple rooms of the other houses, but I figure I can order it and mail/drop it for the other characters, when the time comes.
I also had a notice that the Nookling Bandits were going to be closed on Sunday to renovate. That means T.I.Y. When I went to buy my sapling from Leif, he told me that it was his last day in his shop, because he'd be moving in with the NBs. I think this also means that Gracie will start showing up, as I work on getting the final expansion of the shop. I'd better start stockpiling outfits in the different themes, so I can be able to change easily.
Antonio finally pinged me for the Police Station. I paid off the lighthouse and brought Isabelle over to where I'd decided to build the Classic station. It's above Town Hall and Re-Tail, on a bend of the river, near the Plaza. That puts all of my "official" buildings in the same area. I'm looking forward to getting the Lost & Found.
I worked for Brewster, and he gave me the Café Uniform. I think the next step is for the Brewstoids. After that, I may switch to another character, to get items for their houses.
I feel as though I should have a lot more to tell, but it was actually pretty quiet. No special character visitors. Just me running around, shaking trees, planting flowers, and talking to villagers.
