This has been one of my favourite experiences with Animal Crossing yet, and I just wanted to share with someone! So, the story is this...
So one of my favourite rappers bbymutha (a lot of you won't know her, she's a pretty underground rapper from Chattanooga, TN) has been posting on her Twitter page recently about playing AC:NH. She's super into apothecary, tarot readings, fortune telling, etc. and other cool witchy stuff - so when I seen a Fortune Telling Set at Nook's Cranny, I just had to post a pic on Twitter telling her it's perfect for her! A short while later, she replied asking how she can get one - which is when we started to DM about me dropping one off for her! She opened her gates to the public with a Dodo code, but the rush of fans trying to arrive crashed her Switch. Soooo she sent me a message separately asking to visit her island alone, just me, her & her boyfriend!
Afterwards she sent me a DM saying we should definitely play again soon, and thanks so much for the item! It was so cool getting to spend time on her island - it felt so personal even though it was just a "virtual" meeting! Just super cool that she made the time to actually play with me for a while. She posted a tweet about it afterwards, and retweeted my "~meet and greet~" pic with her too!
So this probably doesn't mean much to anyone on here - but I just wanted to share my cool AC:NH experience!
