i really think we could use notifications for when somebody replies to your posts. as somebody who typically leaves a topic after making a post, i always get a feeling that people would be disappointed in me because i didnt get their reply until they tell me about it in somewhere else like a PM. its pretty typical for forums to have a reply notification, but to see that this forum doesnt have one is really bizarre. forums are where you have discussions with other people, so it would be necessary to keep up with that people have to say by including this sort of notification. its also especially helpful for sections like villager trade plaza as a lot of activity happens there.

i mean, its not the best idea nor will it really do much wonders for the bell tree forums, but i am all for it. what do you guys think? feel free to point out why this is a good idea or a bad idea.

I don't use the subscribe feature, but don't you get notification when someone replies to a thread you're subscribed to?

yep, i think so. but heres the thing, if i were to subscribe to a topic (depending on the topic), i would probably have to deal with plenty of posts that i dont feel the need to reply to mostly because it contains little to no contributing content. being replied by one person would make things easier as youll know who youre talking to specifically and how itll be easier to locate the post.
