I noticed in some island dreams . Some islands have special effects. How do you do that ? I’m trying to make my island cool looking

Can you describe the special effects? Were they inside a house? It could be a mod/hack, but it might just be part of the polishing you unlock in the Happy Home Paradise DLC

Maybe you're referring to the Happy Home Paradise dlc features? Once you do enough houses you can get more features to add to your homes on the island. They include ambient sounds and different effects like sparkle, smoke, fog, ect that you can give to furniture by polishing it.

For the first one, I think that’s a polishing effect - that can be unlocked by playing through the Happy Home Paradise DLC and I’m pretty sure it can only be used inside houses.
The second one I think is just a cloud? flooring from Saharah, and you can see its effects coming up through the rugs that have been placed on it

Oh, i dont know what that is. Are you able to send the screenshots directly from your switch so they’re a bit clearer? No worries if not, it’s kind of long winded. but the only way to get things ‘inside’ a bathtub that I know of is by hanging them on the wall behind it so they appear to be inside. I dont know why something would disappear

haha yeah! i definitely didn't know you could use custom designs until watching a youtube video, i thought for the longest time you could only use the effects it came with
