I just got New leaf a few days ago :)

Hey guys, I got ACNL a few days ago. So here's some basic info of me and my town.
One: My dad gave me ACNL for Xmas. The cartridge. I strongly disliked this since none of my cartridges work. I got about 120 dollars of eshop cards from gamestop (I got about 350 dollars from Xmas) for my wii u. My cartridge got corrupted (I stupidly tried cleaning the yellow part, which has all the data.) I got mad, and got the digital copy finally.

My town's name is Byloria (BYE-LORE-EE-UH) and so far I have a decnt supply of stuff and a good Japan themed house.
If you wanna come visit (or have me visit yours!!) my FC is 2793 0685 6140 (memorized by heart!). You can call me R too!

This may be a stupid question, but i just started a new leaf today, and i haven't an option to change the name of my town? I'm seeing all this stuff about being the mayor and naming your town, but mine is already named for me and i'm just a normal resident >< Am i just not far enough in the game?

uh maybe someone already made a main on your game

is it used ;/ and maybe you are just a resident if so you need to delete the other one the main one

Ahhhhh i never thought of this! There already is a main on the file because it was a used copy from gamestop...omg i didn't even think of that THANK YOU for telling me that before i got too far into it!!! Aw jeez!
