I have the best idea.. What if...............There making it so more than 4 people can be in one town.. what if they make it to like.. 10 people in a town!! :D
That would require days of work. Wi-Fi would have to be shut down continuously for the next few months. I don't think Nintendo has such a big update in mind.

NO!!! i just called nintendo and they said they have had this problem for 3 days ( which they have ) and that they are trying to fix it.. and its ALL WIFI on nintendo..
Then explain why I am on Call Of Duty online right now playing with Bell_Hunter?
Because call of duty is not on nintendo wifi,

I just got a different story from www.wiifriends.com about the today. Read this:

It was crazy how long I was on hold, it took me about 45 minutes to finally speak to a human, but I got through. Anyways, it seems the problem is someone tried to hack into the WiFi through Animal Crossing City Folk. They told me the problem was a pretty big deal and they are doing everything possible to get the WiFi for Animal Crossing City Folk back up. I asked them any idea how long? They told me to try back in 15-45mins, they said it shook up the system pretty bad, but they are sure it will soon be back up.

Anyways just letting you all know. I was speaking to a girl as well, she seemed pretty upset and told me Nintendo may consider sending out mail sometime to each person who has been online today to tell them to stay away from hacking because it messed up the system. Haha, I found that kind of funny and it would be cool to see some mail from Nintendo. Hopefully we see the mail tomorrow, I'm definitely not deleting that mail, it'll be priceless. =)

Anyways she seemed sure of 15-45mins, no longer than an hour so sit tight guys. And I'll be checking non stop to see if it's back up. So post your comments and feelings. She gave me some more info, I probably didn't tell it all, it was a good 5-10 minute conversation.

I don't think it's hacking though. I think it's wi-fi maintenance.

I don't think anyone really knows whats going on. They might have just told my cousin they were doing an update to quite the uproar about a hacker.

It was? But Star Killer told me different. D: Ok then everyone forget that long post.

I think it has to be an update because it goes out and comes back on at the same time every day.

Sorry if this is a little late, but Call of Duty is on nintendo wi-fi. Any Wii game that can go online is considered to use Nintendo Wi-Fi. So there  :p
