I really like it! :] Like other people have said, I'm thinking the shadow may be a little big, but if you're happy with it then that's what counts.

Do I really have to use a real name, I know the original meaning and word (constructive + critique). I'm not cool for using that word thank you very much. It's also just a shorter way to say constructive + critique anyways.

Anyways, the planet is great, I think you should lower it down a little bit more, the detail of the planet is really great and I want to see what covers the rest of it, but of course the shading covers it.

more as if the planet had its rotation and revolution
lengthed the same.

I took a texture, copied it a few times to get the whole canvas, used the clone stamp tool to make it look less copy-pasted and overlapping, colorized it, made a bump map, used a render filter called plasma and iWarped it to make the clouds, and the sphere-ized them or whatever. Then I added that atmosphere glow, some glow stuff just inside the atmosphere that you can't really see but makes it look better, and a shadow.

If you understood what he was doing you wouldn't have said, "its a too sudden change" (Sab). Ignoring your grammar mistake, that doesn't make sense if you understand what he is trying to do. I also never insulted anyone. I just stated their ignorance.

but the fact is were not being ignorant. you are. and my grammar is fine. also stop saying I don't understand what he is doing b/c I do. You need to stop being so INGNORANT and realize that your not a freaking genius and know everything. b/c ur 1 out of 5 people that think the shadow is perfect. everyone else thinks that it too dark and it makes his pieces look badly and compromises the art and time that he has put into it. if he just tones the opacity down a little bit so its not pitch black it would look much better.

ps. really don't be an ass. we understand what he is trying to do.
