I have two questions and need ideas, please. Thanks in advance for any replies!

First up, I'm trying to get my town island ready for spring by changing up the flowers. For awhile, they were all white. Then for the holidays, they were white and red. Now, I'd like to have pastel flowers to go along with my pastel tea cups rides. The island fruit is pear and I also have a lot of peach trees. What combos of flowers do you all think look nice together that are pastel and would go with the pears, peaches and pastel teacup rides? Any flower inspiration appreciated! I'm not very good at ACNH flower garden design.

Second, on the other island, I have the map below. I'd like this island to be a very woodsy but not necessarily cottage core and not (at this point at least) darkly spooky gothic woods either. I'm trying to change the waterscaping to have some visual interest instead of just a zillion trees. What would you recommend doing with this map? I started that canal in front of resident services and ran out of inspiration....

I can't turn on my switch right now, so this is all off the top of my head. But I think that hyacinths have the softest and lightest colors out of all the flowers, e.g. the red is a lot less vibrant compared to all the others. The pink is very pale too and so is the blue, comparatively. I think I'd use those for a pastel-colored area. The pink windflowers could work, because they have a bit of hot pink in the center and are otherwise pale, that could add variety. Also green mums, because the pastel teacup ride uses a lot of green and because of the pears.

I think the "Lullaby" one might appeal to you, maybe with the aforementioned green mums added.

As for the waterscaping, you have this carved out area inbetween two cliffs on the right side that has a pond in it and leads to the campsite. What I would try is to expand that into a river, connecting it with the already existing ones and going all the way up to the campsite to end in a small lake. Bit of a tight squeeze, but I did something similar on an old island with a little overgrown walkway next to a narrow river (2-3 tiles wide I think, it varied) and I really liked how it looked.

Hope my literal novel was of any help to you. I just can't keep any of my posts short lmao.

I love cosmos and mum bags.....if you breed red and white, they are a lovely pink!!!!

I love pink mums. <3 I like pink, yellow, and whites ones together too.

Wow, the Lullaby is great but I also like the Sorbet. I guess I could replace many of my pears with peach trees. Also thanks for the valley river idea!
