I need to know if anyone else plays the Cookie Run games.

I personally just play Ovenbreak and Kingdom. Just finished my latest hiatus and the meta has changed so much.

I'd love to have other fans of the games to talk to, not to mention wanting in game friends. ((I have no where near 30 friends for the newest daily on Kingdom TT-TT))

And I'm trying to recruit for my guild in Kingdom. I'm the only active member and I've put too many relics and time into it to just abandon it, lol. Not to mention it bears the guild name that I carry around between games ((Hollow Lords, Hollow Immortals, other variations of the two)) and it's kind of sentimental.

Anyways, do we have anyone else who plays here?

This definitely feels like a game people on here would like/play! I used to play Cookie Run Kingdom a lot and did really enjoy it, but I often just get tired of grinding/gacha games fairly quickly so I haven’t played in a couple years. The aesthetic is super cute though and a lot of the cookie designs are really good. I’ve never played Ovenbreak personally.

I played Oven Break waaaaaaay back when there was only one level and it was only called Oven Break. I miss the simplicity! I tried to get back into it a few years ago but found the gameplay to be too like…engaging? Each run was so long and it took so much concentration. The cookies are cute, though!

I actually took a pretty long hiatus after sticking with it from shortly after it started. I just started playing again about a month ago and so much has changed.

New mechanics, new continent, eays to organize your kingdom so you can hide buildings but still get the benefits and goods from them.

The only thing that kinda irks me is the new meta. Theres 5 cookies that absolutely rule arena right now and how far you can go almost depends on them. I have 4 of them, but no idea how to build them properly because guides are scarce TT_TT

Me too!!!! I come from the days if the single Ovenbreak run. Now that's been turned into story mode. There is a LOT going on in certain runs, but that's why I limit what all I'll play in a single day.

It's a rly fun game and I hope u manage to find people who play it! I'm sure there's still quite a few left out here. I started when cherry blossom cookie released and stopped playing regularly after Kouign-Amann was released

I definitely remember playing the original game a very very long time ago. It was probably on my iPod touch before I even had a phone and considering iPods are obsolete nowadays… wild. I remember it being a fun game though!

naww im sorry i’m not active in Kingdom and Ovenbreak anymore tho I used to, esp. for Kingdom! I was into it way back in 2021-2022. :] My old guild on HB server was super chill, I loved them lots and they were what kept me playing back then! At some point our guild was on scoreboard at top 20-ish so we were really happy with that. for arena i think i broke top 3k at some point and I was like good enough i retired when i felt like it was too much, esp with how frequent the meta changed and how many things they were adding. the highest-rarity cookies i knew back then were epic / legendary / ancient, so i was surprised to hear they added a lot more rarities nowadays. no shade to the game tho, im p sure it’s still fun for many people, i was just getting busier when all these dropped so i had no way of catching up anymore

I haven’t played for a while - they’re very intense games and difficult to keep up with when you’re busy cookie run kingdom also went through a phase of crashing every minute or so and that was the last time I played it not sure if it ever got fixed. But yeah, I really enjoy the games when I have time for them and when they’re working as intended

I have a guild that I always come back to on Ovenbreak. I found them on accident and me and my friend Sherlock joined together. The leader is named Aloe and we make jokes all the time. Ever time I've gone on hiatus, I've come back and rejoined the guild and Aloe is always happy to have me.

It's only on Kingdom that I decided to carry over my Hollow Lords guild and I have no idea how to handle recruitment TT_TT The only two people I personally know who played don't anymore. Sherlock says she would, but she doesn't have space on her TWO phones. I'm trying to convince her to install an emulator on her laptop. Then my sister @Mimi Cheems tried to get online with me and complained because she usually used an emulator to play.... and then got caught up prepping for her Boston trip and still hasn't gotten around to it *sighs dramatically*

There is kind of a lot going on, which is why I try to limit what I'll get involved doing at a time. I'll set a little routine for myself that I'll follow each day.
~Take care of buildings and set new production.
~Send out trade ship, trains, birds.
~Start new construction projects if I need to and have the resources.
~Soda Isles with time jumpers.
~Check town square for events.
~Check the arena for opponents I can beat, leave if none.
~Bounties with time jumpers.
~World exploration in either Crispia, Beast-Yeast, or both if I'm feeling up to it.
~Claim all event rewards from doing dailies and claim free resources along with daily guild rewards.
~Gift Friends.
Then I typically log off if I don't feel like doing anything else. Take 15-20 minutes depending on how much I skip.

Also, I started playing at the very beginning and took my ridiculously long hiatus around.... uh.... The Dark Cacao Cookie event, when he became a playable cookie and the third available Ancient.

They are pretty intense sometimes, but not as much if you're not striving to climb leaderboards. I wouldn't know about the crashes because I never experienced them. My sister did though, for sure. It's why she switched to emulator.
