so... my friend and I are working on a game together, and this is a side thingy. (our main project has to do with the ocean) my friend came to me for the writing and he does the pixel art, his brother does the music. this idea was scrapped but id like to keep working on it... id also like critique and such. itd be a huge help.
synopsis:
Children die often. What does not happen often is children who are conscious enough to realize that something is out of place.
Every Era, only nine children will enter purgatory, the Divide, and realize they aren't alive. The brutal cycle is that a child will gain control over the Divide; and the next child will bring an end to that child.
Something is... peculiar, however. The eighth child has gone rogue with their newfound strength, and yet, the ninth child doesn't seem to want to end the cycle.
run-down:
basically, an rpg. the heroine of the game is a girl named I, hence the title. shes the ninth child to end up in the Divide. shes also the sort of character that you dont know a lot about until the very end. the villians (yes, plural! i love villians so much) are based around very childish emotions, although they can be very eerie or scary sometimes.
if you didnt get the reference, i named her I because its the ninth letter in the alphabet![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
for me, this is kind of embarrassing because i dont share my concept ideas or anything with anyone besides my friends. i think i can handle harsh critique, i just really would like feedback. thank you so much!
(ps: if you know about hillrose, yes, the story is VERY loosely based off the concept for that, with minor/major adjustments. i think the only similarity they both have is purgatory, really. and no, i wont be working on that story anymore. so sorry!)
