I know I am a feminist and I am sorry if I offend anyone by saying this but I think there needs to be a female only species.
We have lions which is a male only species and 4 octopus has only one female
I think there should be a female only species and it should have ten or eleven members of that species.

Or they could add female lions I don't think it would be any more werid with maned female lions in a world with short trunk elephants, fitting huge things in pockets, villagers knowing what's inside your pockets, a museum where only players can donate stuff in, along with lots of others stuff.

They can even just simply make the manes smaller or make them look different to the males (assuming a lioness would get confused with a tiger becouse that is what I read years ago somwhere)

Do you think they should add a female only species (I think fox or bat could be a good female only species) or just add a bunch of female lion?

First up: here's the definition of a feminist. There is a difference between a feminist and a sexist person. You're not being either. There is nothing wrong with asking for a female species. Animal Crossing in the past have been stereotyping.

Sexism: Favouring one gender, either boy or girl. For example: Wearing shorts are boys clothing. (This is not true, just an example)
Feminism: Still favouring one gender, but in particular, females, but thinking that females should have more superiority than males.

What you're saying: You think each animal can be a boy or girl. Nothing wrong with that at all. There are heaps of lionesses and I believe we should have them in the game.

Animal Crossing stereotypes: The creators think males are - grumpy/cranky, lazy, sporty and smug. They think the females are - normal (which they think low self-esteem is "normal" for females), peppy, uchi and snooty.

Having a low voice doesn't mean you're cranky. Females can be cranky and sporty - I am one of them. If you wake me up at 2AM (which I hardly sleep anyway) I will scream the house down. I play rugby league too. I know a lot of males who are peppy and uchi. So, I expect in New Horizons there are more detail in their personality and they don't have to be one personality.

Yes please with the succes of the Lion King remake they could use it as an excuse to make some spicy female lions.

Fanart by idk who of what female lions could look like.

Doesnt look bad at all even if it's just some random persons vision.

The developers dont have to use the same model as the Male lions. They can make a new one so they dont "look weird" as a few of you are saying.

That doesn't look that bad at all, and since there are the male-only group of bulls and female-only cows, this group would be lions/lionesses or lioness

Ok so like, I don't see any point in "creating" a new species named lionesses when there is already a lion species. They could just remove the manes and call it a day. However, as that might look weird, they could create a separate species with their own models, just like the cows and bulls (which I see no point in separating).

And you probably forgot about the cow species, as it's only female. If you don't count that one as a female-only just because there as bulls as well, then your petition is just dumb. How would they reproduce?

Feminism is about gender equality, not superiority. If you're going beyond equality, that's sexism. It works for both genders.

Oml i missedthe poll but i think there should be monkeysof they dont already have them. This would be boy girl species

I am not a feminist, nor encouraging it. I'm just saying some women take it too far in "sexism" by thinking they're allowed to do something, but not a guy. Feminism is not gender equality, feminists do not support guys whatsoever. I'm taking into account with some of my former female classmates. The girls think it's "justice" by allowing themselves to do whatever they want.

A non-sexist person is called a sexism advocate/activist. I am one of them. Yes, I am a female, and I believe men and women should not be discriminated. You're missing my point here. You should watch one of Judge Judy's court cases on berating a woman for thinking she's "supporting" women's rights.

Then they're kind of missing the definition of it, though in fairness the point of femininism is that men have been viewed as having more importance and so on (oversimplifying for the sake of discussion), so it's not so much for men. But maybe it should be - get rid of the "man up" mentality at the same time.

I think femininism, uh, varies. There are feminists who just want to women to be treated as equals (remember that men can be feminists too!), which is usually fine. And then there's the bat**** crazy women who go around doing things I don't even want to get into on an Animal Crossing forums website. Point is, those two groups of people shouldn't be lumped together. One group should be supported, the other ignored or worse.

Thank you, that was exactly how I was trying to describe it. Now, I think it's my duty to leave this thread.

Never thought about having female lions to be honest, as lions aren't really my favorite villager species
in the game. However, I wouldn't mind it if they would add some.
